Hang in there. You must be tired with little jwil not sleeping very much and everything seems worse when you are tired. The ebay sales seem to be going well and you will be grateful for that money coming back to you in January when your expenses are repaid.

Do you need to buy much for Xmas?

I have my fingers crossed for you that the car gets through the MOT without any great expense.

Thanks Choc, things do always seem worse when you are tired!

I've not got loads to buy for Christmas. Little jwil is done. I have to buy for DH, some nieces and nephews and token gifts (i.e. chocolate) for the families. We also need to buy for BIL but DH will most likely take care of that.

I had a couple more sales overnight, just small ones, but means I should be able to make a small payment later.

I've redeemed a £5 amazon voucher from a survey site so waiting for that to come through.

I'm umming and ahhing over what to do this afternoon. I really want to try and get the house tidied a little bit, but I'm thinking I ought to try and get some more listed to get some sales before Christmas.

I did start sorting out the kitchen at the weekend, and have a couple of bags full of things to car boot. I really want to give it a deep clean before Christmas, so maybe I ought to carry on with that.

We are due to go to London, Birmingham, Bath and Glastonbury over the next few weekends, so there's not going to be much time at home to get on.

Maybe I'll compromise and try and do a bit of both.

Ooh, just had notification that I am going to get a small payrise next year! Hoorah! It's the first one for about 5 years. It's not much, probably only about £20 a month, but oh well it's still a bit more than I'm getting now. We are also getting a £100 bonus payment in December. Won't be til the end of Dec but again will be welcome.

:T:Tsmall rises and an even bigger :T:T:T:T:T for £100 bonuses. Can you get all your Chrissie presents out of that with hopefully a bit left over.

We only buy for GC now. Our own children (all grown up and in relationships with families of their own) found Christmas just too much so we don't buy for them and they don't buy for us. We would have carried on buying for them but they found it too embarrasing to receive and not give. We just give them extra on their birthdays :)

Thanks retired :) Sadly it's not coming in til the end of Dec so won't be in time for Christmas. It wouldn't cover what I need to buy but would help.

We do similar in our family, just buy for the children, but get things like chocolate for the adults.

Had a few sales overnight so have paid another small payment. Kept £20 back as I have to take some to the post office.

Just realised that I have paid £800 this month :T :T Really pleased with that.

It's payday tomorrow so I'll work out my targets for next month. Doubt I'll get anywhere near that but it's still worth a try.

    Hurrah it's payday!

It's also MOT and service day, but it looks as though the car has only failed on one thing :T :T Waiting for a price, but hopefully not too extreme. Much better than expected, though it means I haven't got a car for the weekend which is a little inconvenient. But I can put up with inconvenient for a smaller bill :D

I've had to walk little jwil to nursery today and then get two buses to work. It took almost 2 hours! I'll have to do the same on Monday as well.

No payments today as worried about the car bill. So that's it for this month, as I've been paid so will start off next month now.

I'll need to set my new targets. They are going to be high! I'm not sure what I'll achieve but will see.

I've sold several items overnight and a couple more things today so that's good.

    Hope everyone is well x
