    Evening Guys!

What a day! It has rained none stop and is terribly depressing:cool:

We went off to Peterborough after the hospital and wasnt too bad. Got abit wet though. Decided to get my hair chopped:confused::D and got a great haircut for £18 which is pretty cheap to the normal £35 locally to me! She did a good job and its one less thing I have to do through the holidays when its so busy everywhere. We came home early because of the weather and did some reading/revision, then OH took me to Wetherspoons for dinner (with vouchers:rolleyes: )...:rotfl: I had a burger, chips and salad, he had lasagna, salad, pint and I had a coke and it came to just under £8;) ....im a cheap date arnt I:o

OH has nearly finished his HP book.

Have some friends coming over on Friday evening for a surprise Baby shower..my friend is helping though, so dont panic that Im doing too much:D Im going to start a seperate thread and ask for some help there.

Anyway, we are back tomorrow and am just about to veg out in front of TV...watching the programme on birth and the NHS:eek:

    Toodles.

    Evening all. :hello:

Have been a bit busy for the past few days enjoying the sunshine (sorry for those of you in the rain) :o

Have been a good os mummy with lots of baking and cooking but am trying to shift a few pounds this week so I'm resisting my own cooking.

Not alot of news today but I was sent out for a walk this evening while OH and Dtwins made a birthday cake for me for tommorrow. When I walked back up the road they'd tied balloons outside the house. (bless) Looking forward to a day of pampering tommorrow and OH is even taking the day off.

Will try and catch up properly tommorrow.

Hugs to JackieO, Crazychick and Boo.

Happy birthday and belated Happy birthday to Taplady and Snowy. _party_ :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :D

And hope Master Pink got on OK at the Hospital.

    Hi Guys ,
all seemed to be O.K. at the hospital and how embarassed was I . Along came the registrar to sign some forms and to examine me .He looked about 22 was 6ft odd and gorgeous looking. There was I in me best M&S's granny bloomers:eek: .he was lovely though and very kind .My surgeon is apparently on holiday until next week. I wish I could find so fancy lacy ones in my size Nels.I've thought of rent-a-tent but I don't fancy canvas ones .:rotfl: :rotfl:
Dannahaz ,if you feel like a good moan then have one love, it does you good, and beats kicking the cat:eek:
After being poked and prodded in some very undignified places today I decided that when we had finished we would go down to the hospital restaraunt for lunch. It was surpisingly good and not that expensive .My DD was brilliant, and has taken lots of notes as half of what they tell you goes sailing over your head at the time.
I have been given a big bottle of gloop to shower and wash my hair with the night before I go in, and again the first thing next morning. I asked if I could condition it afterwards but apparently I can't as it negates the object of this stuff.its supposed to make me germ free but I can't see how but who am I to argue. It smells appalling as well:eek:

The other funny thing that made me laugh today was my DD who is a lovely lady but a bit on the ....prudish side , not at all like me :rotfl:
When we came out from lunch and were making our way out of the hospital she wanted to use the loos, so in she went whilst I waited outside (it was one of those ones where it only holds one person ).As I was a bit bored waiting I stepped towards the noticeboard to read it, and whilst my back was turned a Dr. rushed past and dived into the loo.My DD hadn't locked it properly. There she was in ....mid-stream so to speak. She yelled ,the Dr.exited full of apologies and she eventually came out very red-faced and rather damp around her nether regions .
She wasn't happy , especially when I said I thought it was only old dears like me that need Tennaladies . No sense of humour some folk ;) I have been teasing her all day about her way of capturing a Dr. with her knickers around her knees:rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh well onwards and upwards I guess .I have my bone scan on Thursday so it will mean another three hours at the hospital, but I will have my youngest DD with me then as the eldest is off to Devon for a week. Hopefully her humour will have improved by then. :D
The youngest, Tess, is as daft as I am and will jolly things along a bit I expect.
They are both terrific ladies, but total opposites. Tess is so laid-back she is almost horizontal ,whilst Shelly is the worlds worst worrier .As the girls who went to the Blackpool meet last year will remember, Shelly is the one who constantly had to be re-assured that I hadn't gone to Blackpool and met with some axe-wielding maniacs.Only some great folk from this site .Nelski and BargainRzl we certainly had a glass or two of wine that night didn't we :D Well time for a cup of tea ,thank for all your good wishes peeps
    Cheers, JackieO x:A

Be a devil next time JackieO and wear no knickers. :D That should shock them. :D

Had a little rain in the night so that was good. Plans for today is to clean the house & catch up with a few things that have slid while DGS has been here. Still no word from XDIL. But I'm sure if they didn't arrive home safely I would know about it. As they say no news is good news.

Hugs to Boo & Scuzz. Boo- I would just wait and see what the results were first and take it from there. Know it's hard, but try for your own peace of mind. Scuzz - get your money off him. Told you he was rotten. :D

Have a good night's sleep. Byeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Boo,

Try not to meet trouble half way...not easy I know but wait for the result and then you can begin to consider your options. Hugs!

jackieO...you should have more consideration for your poor DD's traumatic experience! She's a very good daughter that she didn't turf you out half way home in a puddle! Good luck on Thursday, make the most of the new perfume!
