been up for 20 mins as i heard my freezer alarm going off... it keeps doing it and i have to keep putting it on super freeze !!!!!!! i think it might be on the blink.

have got eggs in the pan boiling away for oh packed lunches,
the seagulls are going mental here at the moment !!!!!!!!!

watched Titanic last night and shed a tear... i love that film

I went to see my parents yesterday, but they weren't in, lol. That'll teach me to make surprise visits. I'll try again next weekend, but will leave out the "surprise" bit and tell them I'm planning a visit.

There's nothing new, strange or startling in my life. Have the best Monday you can everyone.

Feeling a bit despondent atm. Just said my goodbye's to DGS. Kicked up an awful stink at the jetty and was yelling *me stay Mummy* and screaming at the top of his voice *Poppa* :rolleyes: I'm pretty sure he think's I'm Poppa now. Even in his little dreams he calls out his name.

I'm pretty sure DH plan of winning him over by letting him help cementing, digging, shovelling sand, working in the veggie garden, sitting in the truck. Do you get my drift - has worked. :mad: I'm just the slave who cooks, cleans, bathes & changes wet & dirty nappies. :rolleyes: For this DH will be punished severely.

Well I suppose I'll go and make a cuppa for afternoon tea and polish off the pikelets that we made this morning. Hope you all have a lovely day. BYeeeeeeeeeee

Morning. Wet and miserable here today. I am off to work soon. Only 3 packed lunches left before the school holidays. I hate doing them.
OH decided that she had to evacuate the bedroom last night due to a mystery gas leak :rolleyes: I put it down to the BBQ myself...... hmmmmm
Not much new to report other than I did manage to cut the grass yesterday. Nothing else though, the veggie patch looks grim I must say. Far too wet for it.

Hi all

DD came home yesterday eve full of attitude after being at her dads wedding normally does when comes back from his,i went to bed just after 10 before i killed her .. got up at 2 am to find her still up in her room was about to go in and yell at her when i realised her room was spotless, yesterday it was like the local dump. she thought she would tidy it up to say sorry to me .. should keep it tidy anyway lol.. told her it was a nice idea but it was time for bed so off she went to sleep.. kids

today we going we going to take her near the elstrees studio to shout get charley out lol she loves big brother but to young to go to any evictions etc so we doing this for her but she doesnt know it .

going to the gym first (aqua aerobics) at 9am be my 3rd time not bad for a exercise phobic.

AUSSIELASS - I can sympathise - my DGD has eyes only for my DH when we're both here! DGS is not quite so brazen about it - he will diplomatically share himself out between us. At least they both know who I am - my sister has a GS who thinks he visits only to see Grandad and that Nanny is just the taxi-driver!

Well, it has rained during the night but doesn't look so bad now - yesterday was lovely considering they had threatened downpours all day. I didn't watch any television yesterday so haven't caught up with the news re the floods yet - I hope no-one has been affected again. TAPLADY - hope your mum is OK?

Well, today's plan is food-prepping for dinner which will probably be Bubble & Squeak with sausages and the rest of yesterday's plum pie for pudding; I must definitely do some ironing and then I shall go to Curves at about 10 o'clock which I'm looking forward to; the rest of the day will be spent going through the paperwork. My new desk hasn't been assembled yet due to various interruptions yesterday but that is scheduled for tomorrow. DH is going over to France on Thursday to do some more work on the house - he'll probably be there for four weeks and I will fly over for the last of them - he's taking a friend with him and they have some major work to do, so I prefer to stay at home. It will be the first time on my own since DS2 left home in December and, TBH, I'm really looking forward to having the house to myself - I have lots of lists being planned in my head so I'll have loads to do; I like my own company and never get bored, and it will be good to potter around at my own pace and only have myself to think about! Mustn't look too keen in front of DH but, oh, the bliss of being able to read in bed without being reminded that he 'can't sleep with the light on' even though he can happily doze off on the sofa in bright sunlight!

Anyway, off to have a shower and will catch up with you all later. Have a lovely day and (((hugs))) to all in need.

dd has a leavers play today 2 performances I'm going to the one this morning and then she goes back at 5.30 tonight for the second one tomorrow is her last day with partys and stuff but she doesn't have to be in until 10
ds2 has 2 1/2 days left but is at chessington tomorrow and has a sponsered walk on wed's amongst other things it look's like the last few days at school are going to be busy
I have washing to do but I'm hoping to get it on the line
need to do some baking as I have very little left in the house

Ok I was doing fine. Had a man bashing session on Friday with friends and was starting to get over bf. Then he calls me for help on Saturday and acts as though nothing's happened and wants us to meet up for a drink - which hasn't happened. Now I'm all over the place again. :mad: Says he turned to me as he can't trust anyone else. He's playing with my emotions and that's not fair

Started helping my friend out with her finances. She's applied for a 0% credit card to move away from one with interest over over 20%:eek: Now we're looking at moving her loan.
Had friends over for dinner yesterday. They brought champaign with them:T

Also made a banana bread - first time in ages I've done that.

At work till lunchtime, then got to visit sis, then home for a nap.

Morning all
It's raining here today & we are still on flood alert, every so often, my phone rings telling me to move my livestock to higher ground, so Thumper & Ogden's cage will be moved up on to the decking.
I had a phone call frim one of my lodgers last night. She told me that living with me & hubby had opened her eyes & made her reconsider her life. She told me often that she wasn't happy with the way her husband behaved, he has good qualifications, but since they moved to England he refuses to use them, he has a poorly paid office job in a local hospital from which he earns enough to keep him in cigarettes, booze & gambling. She has to pay all the bills & support her son who is at Uni.
She cannot contemplate divorce as she is catholic & also she would get a lot of family pressure. Now she has a new job miles away from where she lived with her hubby. She has decided that she will not organise his move to be with her & her son & then have screaming rows with him about his lack of help, both financial and otherwise. She has told him, she is buying a house on the Keyworker scheme & moving with their son & when the hubby has got a good job in the new area he can move in with her, until then she has given notice on the property they were living in & arranged for him to get a room at the hospital where he works! No rows, no arguments, lol.
She says she has watched the way I arrange things & my hubby just does as he's told! I don't think she realises that we have usually discussed things & come to an agreement before I go ahead with arrangements.
I don't know whether to feel guilty or not.

Morning to everyone else, hope you are all ok.

Well today is the first day of the school hoildays, after the kids noise and fighting this weekend i think i will go maddddd before the week is out!!!!
I have to take them to Mr Ts for big shop which im not looking forward to, plus Fil is coming!!!:mad: Im getting quite mad about his monday visits he hasnt seen Dh for months because he always visits whilst dh at work and leaves before he gets home from work, i know its bothering dh too as his dad never asks to speak to him when he phones. And dh knows im always in a fowl mood after his visits as he just does my head in, he will moan all day at the kids for being noisy and moan about what they have on the tv!!!!!!!
Then take over my kitchen and cook his dinner!! Is it just me or is this rude to go and visit ,bring your own food and just start cooking without asking?????????????:mad: :mad:

So all in all not looking forward to today, so plan to keep busy whilst fil here to keep out his way, lots of jobs need doing upstairs;)

Bore Da!
first day of school hols, so I am going in to school to complete some more paperwork and get some more classwork up to printing, ready for next term.
I will not be the only teacher doing this, some like to wait till the end of the hols, I prefer to spread it out.
There is something quite tranquil about a school without teenagers!

Shall get my computer keyboard clean too (at last) as I was issued with an old one that is not good enough for the pupils to use and it is really grubby. I found some wipes in the Pound Shop that should do the job - the school ran out of cleaner before my room.

Fully intend to walk back, which is something I enjoy: just hope it does not rain!

Scuzz: banana bread! felt like Homer and 'donuts, mmmmmm' without the drool. Shall follow you example and bake this afternoon.
