Hi everyone,
It has been a very long time since my last confession of cleaning, as I returned to uni to do my PGCE in primary teaching, and now that I've qualified I can't find a job, so I'm unemployed again, and will hopefully manage to get the flat in order again after my months of putting it off. I've got an extra incentive now, as we are going to be selling the flat soon, so hopefully OH will be removing some of his junk (well I can dream can't I?).Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

Galantvr4 - glad to hear she's coming out of hospital. I was in for 17 days with my first as they thought she was having fits (she wasn't). She wouldn't feed and I had to do all the expressing milk. I got very tearful and thought it might be PND but I had a brilliant midwife who said she thought it was just the baby blues which can happen for a couple of weeks especially if you're stuck in hospital. She said i'd been fine when I went home and I was so hopefully everything will be fine for your sister.
Hev - glad you're still diet coke free. Well done!
I'm off to do the rest of my list now and then make tea. Only 3 of us today and then only me and DS from tomorrow so it'll be a quiet week xxJanuary budget

Hello everyone,
I don't know whether I need a kick-up the beh!ind, or a hug but either would be gratefully received as I am feeling completely fed-up!
I'm having one of those "I'll never been in control" days, prompted by first spilling my spray bottle of diluted stardrops all over the floor (oh well it was going to be washed anyway!) Then I thought I'd vaccuum under the fridge. It was completely minging, and something got stuck in the hoover nozzle. The "something" turned out to be dried cat poo  . So I think I'm condemned to be a domestic slob for ever and never to get this hovel into shape!
I know I've got nothing to feel miserable about - especially when I keep hearing on the news all about the dreadful floods, but I'm just having a bad day!
Hopefully normal service will be resumed soon, take care all,

:grouphug: Hugs for 7 week wonder. I know what it's like to have days like you have had today. I seem to be becoming clumsier and clumsier by the day, and my luck is definately not here at the moment either. You have come to the best place if you're feeling down, as they are a really supportive group of people on here, and it can be good to talk to somone you don't know or who is not directly involved.
Keep going - you can do it!Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

7 week wonder - in our household those sorts of days are 'high gravity days' because everything falls/drops/tips over. I grit my teeth and lower my sights on those sorts of days. The worst thing is that once you start stressing and getting tense, the higher gravity gets and even more drops/falls/spills. And that is when you find the 'present' the cat brought in, or the coffee cup that has evolved independent life forms or find a cup of slime at the back of the fridge. Well done you for even trying anything on one of those days.
Nothing yet done off fly lady list but I have put four items on ebay, looked after my son and dealt with a backlog of paperwork.
Now DH and DS are cuddling on the sofa, I can have another go at the list! Up and at 'em!Always another chapter0 -
Hello all!
I'm back for a quick catch up. I've just read this weeks posts, but not last weeks I'm afraid.
Things are good here, Owen's a little better and Freya's a good girl.
Hugs to all who need them. Good luck to those with flooding, relatives in trouble and messy houses.
The master bedroom has become a hot zone for rubbish. Lots of clean clothes on the floor (at least they're clean, it used to be piles of dirty washing), scrap book stuff all over the shop and just general crud all around. DH has been keeping the rest of the house tidy, so it's not too bad, but I have to climb over things to get to the baby's cot. It's time to fly, but I'm just too worn out.
Have missed many of you - lil_me, tinsel, pigpen, dusty, michelle, solway, pollybear, poohbear, shell, denise, shirley, nicki, happy at home and all those that I've missed - hugs and hellos.
Don't know when I'll be back, but will try to check in soon. xxx0
