I have already prepared a packed breakfast and a plate of fresh fruit for SW and done QHI.

Today I might decide that I have reached my target - had to put size 14 trousers in the bottom drawer after my DD said they were really baggy on me :) I am not keeping anything larger than a 14 unless it fits me properly. My wardrobe is still half-empty but with the addition of a couple of warm jumpers I shall have enough clothes to see me through the winter. DH's wardrobe is still bursting with clothes that he never wears but won't ditch.

Today I would like to achieve the following:
    - shower and dress
    - SW
    - book flu jabs
    - 1 email and 3 phonecalls re Old Wives' programme
    - sweep and mop kitchen floor
    - dust our bedroom
    - quick trip to Mr T or Mr S (depending on whether I go into town first or shop on my way back from seeing my friend)
    - visit my friend in hospital
    - finish Minutes of meeting
    - email DD
    - post cards to DGSs
    - review presentation for next week
    - start updating website
    - plant some bulbs if the rain stops for long enough to get out without a coat

Hope everyone has a productive day x

Congratulations on your weight loss Ionafan and good luck with that long list of jobs.

I've done my datasheet task, just having a cuppa then I'll hoover the stairs and head up for a shower and to clean the bathroom.

How gratifying Ionafan! A spaciously decluttered wardrobe - what a joy! And hard earned, too. Well done and huge congratulations.

Superking turned around at the last minute as I suddenly remembered permanent random lodger was due 24 hours earlier than originally expected - thank goodness I moved the TD and can now use it again. Shower room S&Sed in her honour, too. I hope she appreciates all my hard work. winky icon won't insert One white load done last night and out on the line for the 24 hr window of weather, after which it will be pi$$ing down again.

And words had with assorted lodgers about leaving wet towels and washing on the new radiators when the rusty ones are replaced with sparkly new ones later this week.

OH unblocked the drain in the front lightwell by prodding at it with a rake from atop a step ladder while still in the bedroom it had become a rather deep paddling pool. It worked, so he's dead chuffed. And then he dy$oned the middle layer for me. He's rather a treasure, really.
    Better is good enough.

    Ionafan well done

CY ask on the housing board about the tax etc, they have some real experts over there, I am sure they will help you.

Type2 nurse and Dr review done, all is in order, and am still boarder line not a type 2, after having been a type 2 if that makes sense, so I will now be monitored every 6 months for a blood test and only a yearly review, so that is all good, however last week they 'forgot' to take blood for one other test, so I duly had to produce some, yet they did a full blood count last week that wasn't needed at all, ho hum,.... then nurse also gave me my flu jab, so that is out of the way.

    Hoovered upstairs
    Sorted out mountsockmore
    Did kitchen
    Been to the bank

Glad you enjoyed your trip to York, mummyyof5.
    Well done JTTOU :T
Good news for you too, kazwookie :j

I too am celebrating because I managed a 2lb weight loss over the past fortnight, despite pastry, cakes and cream teas demolished during our holiday week, and DH lost 4lb :T :T I have declared target with a total weight loss of 4 st 9 lb in 13 months. Really pleased to be size 12 now! My beautiful wedding dress is a (generous) size 18 J@cques V€rt, and I would love to cut it down to fit the new me for our 5th anniversary between now and Christmas. Honey Bear, can you give me lessons, please?

I have booked our flu jabs for tomorrow
I will make a couple of other phonecalls before eating lunch and going out - another friend is coming hospital visiting with me, so I shall leave the shopping until tomorrow when I've got the car again: nothing needed urgently.

Bathroom done this morning. It's the room I like doing least, so decided to get it out of the way early in the week. I'll whisk round the living room later, am waiting for DS1 to clear loads of packing materials.
