    Morning all

I tend to follow the thread without posting but need to keep up o date so will try harder.

I have a poorly cat at the moment and have become a little obsessed with germs so have being cleaning and tidying but as I'm really disorganised I need the lists on here.

My goal for October is to get the whole house decluttered and cleaned by half term. It's going to be hard but if I don't try........

Right off to do the kitchen and another load of washing before the nursery run.

    Hugs Ionafan.

I found a spare 30 mins so as well as dailies, I've emptied and washed all the bins in the house, so there's something crossed off the list.

    Paid stuff now beckons.

Ionafan hugest hugs sweetie for you and your dear friend. I found out at the weekend that a distant family member also has cancer, they have found the secondary, she is under 50 with a young son. I've not seen them in well over 30 years but feel very sorry for them.

It is pouring here so family dropped at bus and train stations. Time for a cuppa and then to decided if I do flying or paperwork first, there is lots of both to do!

  • Morning everyone - hugs to Ionafan and Dusty.

    Welcome to newbies.

Will be off plan today, as have a Mt washmore to catch up on - did two loads yesterday but at least 4 more to go! I pledge to at least clean my kitchen windows off the list today though, and the fridge before I go to fill it up again!

Thanks for the get well wishes - I'm trying to get an appt this week as had a rubbish night last night and resorted to my strong painkillers and ibuprofen gel too! It won't stop me however as it is much better when I am moving!!

Ionafan thank you for the update on the challenge - not sure I'll manage any of them this month - does trying a new recipe in a restaurant count! LOL!!

Thanks for the threads Natty and Dusty - will catch you all later. x

Well, it looks like I may have laryngitis now.. Thankfully it is one of the few things that doesn't hurt.. I still feel rotten though.

Plans for today was to take a pile of drugs and carry on.. my house is a dump, it hasn't been touched for 2 weeks and I can't cope now..

Tiddles is a moron.. gone to school with a stupid tshirt and daft thin jacket in pouring rain because she is too stupid to look for her things.. I am utterly furious with her ignorance and stupidity and it must be deliberate because if someone was that stupid it would actually be classed as a disability!! I swear she is her KH fathers clone.. he is as much as a FW and that.. I am livid.. she has made me strain my throat more trying to get her to hurry up and I am not happy!! She has 6 school jumpers/cardies and 2 coats... !!!!!! has she done with them???? I am really really fed up!

AND.. I'm supposed to go into school and sign some stupid letter for her to do some football thing after school in the cold and rain... I don't think so!!

    morning all

hope all are as well as can be
gentlest of supporting hugs to dusty and Iona - it is a horrible unfair illness
hugs to you and your DD2 CY, its a big step ad you will miss her but thats what bringing them up is all about getting them ready to stand on their own two feet and be independent
pigpen hope you feel better soon and hopefully it will be wet play so tiddles will stay in school and the footie thing will be cancelled due to wet pitch.
hope the poorly pets and poorly loved ones are at the very least comfortable and hopefully improving.

managed to get mil into drs on friday, she had chronic back pain and in her words is itching like the devil which meant she hasnt been sleeping. got her down to the drs who was lovely but concerned so tomorrow after weve been for first radiotherapy we are going for a spinal xray at another hospital (fills the day) to checks its nothing else to worry about. the itching all over is also worrying me (note to self do not google symptoms:eek:)

managed to get the garden ready for winter - patio table and swing seat were disassembled and put away along with a few garden ornaments. the back fence looks much better for its creosote treatment and im on the final ball of wool for the giant chunky cushion cover.

didnt realise homefront started again last night so almost missed the 1st one - it was quite dramatic so glad i watched it

DS1 enjoyed the concert at the weekend sadly train home was delayed for an hour because of a tragic incident on the track involving the train before his:(
DS2 came back tired but not too wet from his weekend camp - felt sorry for DD2 as pick up point was nearer hers than ours so she offered to get him then come over for lunch as usual. she ended up sitting crocheting in a layby for 2 hours as his groups got lost and had to back track several miles to get back to pick up point.
