Not mine, I stayed with the car/dog, while the owner of both ran into Mr T for cigs and sausages, dog food and a gazillion boxes of flavoured nuking oats (some special price/she stocked up).

Dogs are like some sort of a 'magnet' to me, I can't resist them, and luckily it seems to be mutual. My interest is always raised at the mere mention of a dog. IMO we are definitely dog's best friend, my greatest sorrow is that sometimes they aren't man's best friend, especially when they truly deserve that title through their devotion and unconditional love.

Wish I had a man like you closer. Dog dog is getting more and more protective of me when I go through health lows. A man who visited who got dogs would help me work through a lot of things that would reduce muzzle time.

Taking a dog is like wasting a simple walk as you exchange that with walking round in public holding small bags of poo.

Sorry I have to disagree, having a dog with you on a walk, adds so much:

    -meeting other dogs
    -meeting other dog owners
-being out in the countryside in the first place (to walk the dog)

Dog is not my best friend today.

I decided to have the bottom stair area fitted with solid walnut. We did the whole house when we moved in so that if there were accidents, it was easily wiped. Dog, however, dislikes splashback and therefore insists on having his accidents on the only soft/carpeted area in the house.

I only changed the carpet again in October. Stripped it off, bleached the whole area and scrubbed it. Nice man came and fitted wood today. I feel quite tempted to tap dance in the area. Now, I will see any pee immediately and will explode into next week. It's stopping right now. It's embarassing.

When I was young I would probably have preferred an ASBO to a BP badge...but sadly they hadn't been invented yet.

However now I send my kids to Brownies/Scouts in the hope they might become civic minded and would be delighted if they got one (a BP badge not an ASBO)
    I think....

That's how I feel too. DD is the same about not being able to resist them. We are both looking forward to getting a dog this summer, having been without one since Avatar Dog died in the spring of 2008.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    Congratulations young Doozer.

I am of that age that I was Magpie rather than Blue Peter. I had Magpie badges 3 for a girl, 5 for silver and 6 for gold.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Do BP badges still give you discounts at major attractions?
