    Are you planning for a natural birth? Is the 2-3 weeks normal for twins or single babies?

    How are you feeling??

    She is 34.5 weeks - about 37 weeks is considered full term for twins. She is already much bigger than a full term single pregnancy (I think she hit that size at 29 weeks.

    Re birth, we are planning to do whatever OH wants to do as she is the key "stakeholder" in the process. I have tried to express no opinions and just said I will support whatever she wants.

    She hasn't decided yet what she wants to do and at the moment one is breech and the other transverse so if they stay like that it will have to be a c section.

    I don't think it really matters too much what you want anyway, most people say that when you get there they ignore your birth plan with all its whale music and deep baths and you just end up being told what they have decided that you are going to do and then half way through it all goes wrong and you get very little choice in how they respond to any issues.

    Nice one Hamish! Good luck chewie. Ceasar is a bit crap, not the easy option it's presented as in the papers.

    We're a third of the way through the drive today having done 3 hours. Just had a v nice Moroccan chicken salad and about to hit the road again. Back is holding up but doesn't love me.

    Now we're at Gundagai; so far so good. Back is a bit stiff but fine really.

    Just under a couple of hours before we hit Albury. We'll have done a bit short of 700km by the time we get there (18 cubic fathoms)*

    The statue of The Dog on the Tuckerbox is here.
    [/As I was coming down Conroy's Gap,
    I heard a maiden cry;
    'There goes Bill the Bullocky,
    He's bound for Gundagai.

    A better poor old beggar
    Never earnt an honest crust,
    A better poor old beggar
    Never drug a whip through dust.

    'His team got bogged at the nine mile creek,
    Bill lashed and swore and cried;
    'If Nobby don't get me out of this,
    I'll tattoo his bloody hide.

    'But Nobby strained and broke the yoke,
    And poked out the leader's eye;
    Then the dog sat on the Tucker Box
    Nine miles from Gundagai.

    Have fun at the G gen! If they do them on match days, you would probably enjoy taking the stadium tour.

    Once you get to Melbourne and see how gorgeous it is you will want to live there (guess which side I'm on in the great Sydney vs Melbourne debate).
