I think we all know someone who would be very happy to help with knowledge of how to get clothing made and supplied and the investment would not be too bad for enough to try out at a cycling meet up - perhaps you could link up with the cycle event by offering a certain percent of your sales to the nominated charity to get some publicity and use your back story as a keen amateur and if you are happy with doing so play on your health related career change?I think....0

Better looking cycling gear......are any cyclists interested in that?
People who live on popular cycling routes would be keen sometimes if they wore gags. Really, the language gets worse and worse in their shouted conversations.
We're getting a few teams trainng locally now and on the bend by the house they yell 'mud....gravel...mud...gravel....mud..gravel...' Until they have gone past. Fair enough, I see why, but then the dogs start barking and it upsets all the animals a lot.0 -

Get a shotgun and stand by the gate .... and shout mad, farmer, gun, mad, farmer, gun.... as they go past.0 -
I am suffering from the leaves falling from the tree next door. A whirlwind is created every day just outside the patio doors - and all the leaves/debris fly into the air by 8-10 feet, tapping at the doors.
I need to divert that windflow somehow, as it's a nuisance on so many levels. If I can persuade it to whirlwind in the middle of the grass that'd be a start.
But, for now, I've an almost constant swirling cacophany of dead leaves making little scraping noises outside as they go round and round and round. What I need to do, at some point, is construct a gadget that gathers up the leaves into a bag, so all I have to do is pop out and change the bag twice a day.
At the moment I've got a broom wedged against the drain cover to stop the leaves penetrating into the drains - then a leaf rake at 90 degree angle to that, to contain them once they've got that far.0 -

Add a plastic bag and you've got the makings of a pretentious movie

It's nice. I thought it'd be sour/bitter and would make my face screw up, but it didn't! Pink Grapefruit Squash = a winner.
Hurrah! :beer:lostinrates wrote: »Better looking cycling gear......are any cyclists interested in that?
I'd be very interested in a pair of hi-vis cycling gloves with reflective bits on them which I could wear in winter and which don't cost a stupid amount (as I only cycle 10 minutes to and from work a fancy pair of gloves is rather disproportionate) :cool:0 -

Fir and I just shout random things out like 'sausages'. But the dogs really drown them out mainly. Its not a major gripe. Nor are the swearing ones, but if I had children I think I might feel differently...it seems the are a disproportionate number of truly foul mouthed misogynists cycling. ( I'm guessing their female counter parts are at livery stables so ethereal else mind you).
Edit ethereal? Where gets changed to ethereal? That was very odd.0 -
I think I'm getting a cold. I feel rough.
. I had apple tea and honey and now I have a sugar rush and feel rough.

That austrailian dancer whose trousers split on strictly has got rather chubby over the years.0

According to my boss at work who had just had a week of sick/working at home there is some sort of flu bug going round and highly prevalent right now....funnily enough the rest of the team have just struggled in however rough we have been feeling.
How can car hire be so difficult...you do the search of about 6 price comparison websites, try and decide what they mean by each size, look up the best cash back, decide what to book and then find when you click through to the best price that it is actually for a completely different sized car to the one advertised....I think....0
