I'm now enjoying Queen on BBC1, having had Gosford Park on.
Might as well stay up and see the fireworks now

I doubt they come with it - cushions seem to cost an extra arm and a leg (£35 or so!!), I've got some beachy blue/white covers I could slide straight on if they did. Else, I'll pick up some inserts for about £2.50 apiece at some point.vivatifosi wrote: »Oh, there were some cushions on the sofa in the pic that I saw, but I think they were just dressing. Wasn't sure whether they came with it or not. They are only the small square ones, so would be easy to change if they did come with it.0 -

I wasn't specifically referring to anything regarding the happily married Michaels!
In fact I was referring to submitting my thesis to the University of Wherever (as you all well know) rather than any kind of 50 shades of grey nonsense
I'll still let you know if and when I submit - my thesis
I'll probably also let you know if and when I see any action. Don't hold your breath on either though, 0 -

Random fireworks have been going off here/there, although I can never see any from any window as I've dashed round. You'd think people'd let them off at midnight, but there've been random sounds since 8.30 or so.
Anybody got any strong feelings about "the best channel to be watching at 12 on the dot"?
Maybe I should have put out a swift advert in the last week for "Babysitter available at exorbitant prices - teens only as I can't cope with real kids"

Happy New Year to all NP and lurkers. _party_Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
