Glad that is over for you, my wife is a primary school teacher and currently teaching 30 kids in a mix year 1 and 2 using two different curriculum's with children who range from being reception level to year 3. She envies her sister who works at the Odeon despite loving her job and being graded outstanding by Ofsted nobody can love the 60+ hour weeks and consistent meddling from politicians playing football.
That sounds like a nightmare. I'm only part time so I don't have it quite as bad as that!Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

There's a lot to be said for a job where you go home and forget it.
What appealed to me about project management was that every project has an end.... a point at which you can empty all your drawers, notes, archive your files ... and forget it.0 -
lighting is expensive (19 x 35w on 1 switch) and weak.
I've got a single, small, ceiling wiggly line containing four bulbs - two of which have blown, the other two don't even match.
I should get up there and take them down, look at them to find out what fittings they are, then trot off to the shop to buy 4 matching ones.... it's on the list.0 -
so sorry about your poor head, lir. I hope you feel better tomorrow, and that you're pleased with your sink.0

I cannot switch off, so no resting yet. Just hanging about to put birds away and then I'll try for a pre sleep nap.
I should try and figure out the heating timer again soon:)
I wouldn't have minded heating on for a couple of hours but don't want to fall asleep with it on0 -
Hey spirit, this means no more getting tickets for fun ...you'll be allowed to park where it was you used to get tickets.0

In the past I've encountered systems that had a button to push that just gave 2 hours' heating. I liked that idea... press the button when you fancy it, knowing it'll go on for 2 hours and switch off... that'd be on my wishlist if I ever chose a system.
I've no idea how this one works... been too scared/worried to turn it on/try it .... got the book .... but I've too many fears really.
I think I need a carer.0 -
I just randomly pressed on mine when I popped the birds in just now and its on until 10pm. I would think we'll bake, but RP will leave a main door open so it will balance out.
Its not actually that cold but RP's back is sore, so don't want that to cause problems. And also, no need for it to GET cold. Amazing.0
