..still 3 pages behind...in other news, my brain came back today. I was able to initiate communications, make calls , write emails, choose books as Christmas gifts. Hope it stays, as I think I am done with vegging. Also the pain killers were enough today and I have been pain free.
Definitely a good sign.....shopping (books is a good start
)is a sign that the brain is definitely on the mend. Once you start ordering shoes and posh cream I reckon you'll be nearly 100%
Daren't click as I'll be lost on mail online celeb gossip for hours and never finish this thread.....Try this link - not promising you'll feel any more enlightened after reading it though!

I missed the deleted post....is this where I had a shop one upon a time?Thank you ladies.
Sadly I have no-one else to blame for the situation I find myself in. And no-one else can help me out of it.
Will delete:

Randomly - I'm somewhere fc used to know very well indeed. And I saw my secondary school blazer in the window of a 2nd hand ('vintage') shop?! It is very distinctive (multicoloured + school emblem) so I'm pretty sure it wasn't just something similar looking. Bizarre.0 -

Just briefly popping to say I need some big girl pants to face the world. Tough time of year in my opinion.
Pastures told me to pop by.
*wave* I missed you as your light is off
I got my mugs.....they are great and all arrived from US not one breakage.
PN, let Mewb know I got them and the intended recipients will love them too.
I must PM him my address for my original signed S4 piece if paper with a stickman on it
OK, off to watch ''I am a celeb AKA Junk Telly'' which I have had on pause for an hour.
Gen, I am going to have a think about your food launch and how to do it on a shoe string......just need $ for the base ingredients and packaging, some stall rent and a few carrier bags + access to a printer to print out some artwork / info.
It can be done with minimal outlay.
In fact, every really successful thing we have done has always started out on a wing and a prayer ....other stuff we have done that had the funds and time were never so successful.

..still 3 pages behind...
Only 3 pages behind? I think I was 18 pages behind recently which is why I'm only just emerging again!
Still haven't replied to a lot of stuff I wanted to, but it's prob a bit late now?
Mas, well done on your Masters, hope you get the job you want. The others you didn't get were good practise, and if it doesn't work out we all know you will do good in the end.
Tom, well done on your graduation. I never made it that far. Part time I only made it to half way through second level before had to give up. Really enjoyed what I managed though, and all education is of use even if I didn't get to finish degree. If nothing else it gave me confidence on giving presentations! Which is prob a skill I will never ever need again. :rotfl:
Generali, this is very late, but I was so happy when I read that your scan was clear. I'm so sorry you have back problems, hope that it's nothing too bad, though that's a stupid thing to say, as all back probs are the pits. You sound a bit down at the mo, all things considered not surprising. But I continue to sit outside our front door and sit (between weeding) at the lottie and send you The Vibes. And who knows, maybe I'll get to shake your hand at a meet up over the Xmas season. I'd love to do that.
Spirit, so very glad you feel your brain come back! :j That is wonderful news. :T
Nikster, I have plenty of big girl pants (in my case they're "Granny Knickers" though, so prob not what you had in mind! ), though they're prob too big for you.
So I'll send you the Big Girl Pants Vibes instead. :rotfl: At least some of them are silk, which makes me feel a bit better.

FC I'm horrified at your knife accident. Hope your poor thumb is healing well. Just before I was 13 we moved to West Kirby, and I managed to take the top off my right ring finger in a deck chair hinge. It bled a lot, all over the hall floor - fortunately we'd only been in the house about a week so the new carpet hadn't been laid! We didn't know anyone so Mum dialled 999 and an ambulance took me to the cottage hospital. First thing they asked was if we'd got the finger tip. We hadn't. When we went home Mum found it still in the deck chair hinges. I have never sat in a deck chair since.
LiR glad you getting your right stuff back, hope they can keep providing. And glad you got new (to you) car sorted. Hope car runs well for you. Hugs.
Sorry for all the stuff I didn't respond to, and humble apologies to anyone I've missed!
Love from Liverpool! :j

Not an official or "everybody does this" rite of passage, but a personal one for her. I had said I'd let her get them done when she was 10, and when her godmother found out about it she said she'd like to come with us and pay for it for her birthday present.lostinrates wrote: »Re my pill changes....
Some one in an aside on marriages board posted something that helps me understand why, as well as the poor fit to the alternatives, the swaps are so hard, apparently its a known thing with anti seizure drugs, and different categories of them are swapped with different levels of caution ( 1-3) my swapped one is cat two, depending on patient seriousness, and there should have been a consultation and stuff about it with me / my carer. ( kiwi? Fir? Pink whistley? ...maybe a small conference
)
Oh how frustrating. How are things going now? Are you still on the "right" ones?We got one of those and I absolutely love it.....I had no idea it would be so useful......I only chose it cos it looked quite flash and wizzy
The spray attachment is the most useful tap ever, for rinsing stuff before dishwasher, for rinsing salad / veg, for spraying OH when he's annoying. There is a normal mixer tap as well. We bought it at one of those home shows @ Excel 2 years ago, before we had even started work on the extension + kitchen....was about £65.
Never goes 'wrong' as such.
I will try and find a pic of something similar.
.....OH just came and read over shoulder and said 'tell her it's Amayzing'
Thank you. V helpful - both of you.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
