Disappeared.... in a huffy huff huff. Generali's "fault"
I claim someone else's thin skinnedness in my defence.
I do feel sort of bad about that. Sort of.0 -

Aha! A cunning plan.
Of course
But I was rather enjoying the idea of that being a random fact anyone would just have in the recesses of their mind, ready for a random question
Well, we all know it now. I wonder how long it will be before one of us NP finds ourselves in a situation where we can bring that fact out as though it's quite unremarkable that we know it.

People keep forgetting to think like a loon
Thanks, but actually it's part of viva's cunning plan for you to find out without leaving the building. See above.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking?
We can now have NP secret meet ups Mi 5 style where the special NP code involves the number of flamingo types.
If I ever get to meet, say, Mas, he can pop into my library, walk up to the desk and say "did you know that there are six types of flamingos in the world", at which point we could make our excuses and head off to Costa to work on our plan of how to save the world from the evil mushroom. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

You did nail it though.
As I say, I do genuinely feel bad about it too but hey, don't dish it out if you can't take it.0 -
Michaels this is coming up on an amazon lightning deal. Not sure whether it's compact enough?
Sony DSCHX400V Compact Digital Camera with Wi-Fi and NFC - Black (20.4MP, 50x Optical Zoom)No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Are the lightning deals being listed somewhere in advance, GDB2222?0

Yorkie, if you look at the top of the Amazon page there's a bit that say's today's deals. Under that it says upcoming deals and you can see what's coming up later in the day. They do pop some in and add to the list from time to time, but it gives you a good idea what's coming up. You can also see the currently active deals through the same tab, but they can go quickly.
We've been pricing up Rosetta Stone Spanish for about 2 years now and managed to get it at the cheapest price we've seen on a lightning deal on Thursday. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
