Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
If PN is too scared to put the hood fan on and leave the house to go outside and listen for it, then I shudder to think what she'll make of the idea of going outside while the hood fan is not only on but sucking steam from a boiling saucepan! :eek::eek::eek:

Its quite effective....but I don't use it any more. Not since I removed all of big dogs top coat and left her undercoat. A she became effectively single coated. ( this is not how its meant to work, but it became quite tunnel visioned about it and just kept going) Ruined it for ages. Put the pile of hair was amazing, and she didn't fine it uncomfortable.
Occasionally use it early in spring for helping moulting horses, before summer coat comes through, too late and I find it damages coat a little.0 -
