Hi all. Hope NDG is ok, I've been wondering where she is. I thought tomterm had posted recently.

Interview went ok yesterday. I was a bit disappointed with myself yesterday, as I think I could have done better. A lot of the stuff I'd prepared and was expecting to be challenged on wasn't asked about; why that sector, ongoing challenges in my field in that sector and so on.

But looking back today I think it went reasonably well. I did answer everything with pretty good examples, emphasised how my experience fits with the role... I haven't spent the whole day thinking 'why didn't I say that!!??' which is what I usually do :)

This job really is much better than the Ideal Job, so I kind of want this one. It's even more ideal! Better experience, better money. I still haven't chased up the people from the Ideal Job for this reason. It's not looking good now though as it has been around a fortnight. We'll just have to see.

Edit: :grouphug: dodgy hugs all round. Happy anniversary!

It's only a week or so since the last dodgy hug but hey, have another.

There are a few posters who disappeared long-term. Johnny Bravo for example used to be regular, as was misskool.

I'll make you a deal - you pop round and clean my oven and cooker hood and show me which filters to get and show me how to fit them .... and I'll bake lots of hot sausage rolls.

PN, I use Avast which works very well, never had a problem. Could try that if Avira is not working.

I stopped using Avira and moved over to Avast.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Fir: I think I have bad news. I think there is a creature behind the oven, I haven't seen anything ominous, but I heard scratching.

Lir: is it necessarily bad news that there is a creature behind the oven?

Fir: your a fan of the house dwelling rodents now?

Lir, no, its just I'm facing the oven and can see what's coming out from behind the oven, and its the cat.
