This week I have to buy new car air freshener. Its mandatory, is it not?
I also by default have the short straw of emptying out old car I to new old car by myself. Boo. That's going to take some time, ( its got a fair bit in it) and dh's car bag weighs a tonne ( will get the mechanics to swap that for me in fact).
Still , crisis averted for a while at least.0 -

Is she the RR?
See how well you know him.:rotfl:
He drove the other one to day...the otherworlder? Loner? What ever it was called, like a bag out of hell, and still managed to get decent economy out of it though, so it seems a decent drive, but my first instinct was right, its too big for a run around car IMO, and too lightweight for a working vehicle. They mentioned the shogun should be operating on the hybrid thing in 3-4 years.
Its really very seamless between engine and battery, and was Very stable as a passenger, best ride in back seat had for a long time.0 -
Me! Circumstances at the time when I was doing O Levels meant I didn't get good enough results to go on to A Levels. So I went to work instead.
I started studying for an Open Degree with the OU a few years ago, and was doing well and really enjoying it, but then needed to go on some medication which for some reason rendered me incapable of putting an essay together coherently. I just couldn't think. So I had to withdraw from my course.
I got more used to the meds in the end, but by then the system had changed and I'd have had to take out a student loan.
I'm glad now that I didn't go back to studying, as I have a lot more trouble retrieving information from my brain now, so I'd have zero chance of passing an exam

Best educational idea for ages the OU was. Pretty sure the present government'll find some bean-counting way of ruining it so I'd recommend anyone gets enrolled ASAP before these cack-handed know-nothings do something to undermine it.
What I really miss ou and other educational programmes on bbc at night.0 -

Tee hee.
Well, even if it wouldn't have been your first choice, at least you've got another car now. Impressed at the decisiveness!0 -

Then I randomly spotted on a news site that it's going to be freezing tonight - so I checked - and it's here it'll be so. Yesterday I set a bookmark for local weather and it said it was 48 degrees here, I just checked and it says 6 degrees here right now, dropping to freezing overnight.
brrrrr....
It could be your timer is over riding your thermostat.
Or that you've got used to the temps.....pop out and pop back in again.
Fir and I are shattered. We're considering and early night and getting up to do dogs later. Can hardly keep eyes open.
Nikkster, sometimes you don't have to make a decision, other times you do. When you do, no point beating oneself up over it. I just wish we didn't leave it till the last minute so often. When their neither fir nor I flounder at making decisions, but reaching them earlier together is often tortuous and I get a bit stressed by it, but he doesn't because he just puts on his 'think about this another time ' pile. ( which is probably too daunting to think about so never gets thought about, unless it genuinely doesn't stress him....he says it doesn't but he cannot get to it...but it would feel like a weight on my shoulders...it does feel like a weight on my shoulders.'
I'm watching g barry mani low and thinking if I get a Chinese crested its a shame it would be a girl because Barry mani, low would be the ideal name for one.0
