Haha nothing that exciting. I really have peas boiling. I'm going to put extra butter in, as well as mint sauce. So it is quite exciting.
    Peas need mustard! :naughty:
Evening or one day stubble I'm ok with. Four day stubble feels like being lovingly caressed with wire wool. He will shave if I ask him, but if feel mean asking. He often shaves spontaneously in the evening though. :D

He likes an oil best ATM.

Oils' vbest for a shave, non-electric razor.

I've never been a fan of mustard .... never heard of mustard/peas.

I grabbed a tin of Smedleys Mushy Peas in Lidl, 16p. They're certainly nothing like proper mushy peas, but they were available, so that's what I had.

    My peas had.... vinegar :)

Mine had a splash of tabasco. And some brown and tartare sauces. And black pepper.

    I like a condiment or 20 :)

If I had over £500 to spend on a bed/mattress I'd have found one sooner :)

Gas lift beds are difficult to engineer. A cheap one is bound to be problematic, at best. OTOH, an ordinary bed, with drawers under, is easy to engineer.....
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

OH does mid week. On Sunday he has a wet shave. Not sure why, possibly being less rushed on a Sunday he enjoys a super close shave.

The boys use electric clipper type razors (son and BF of DD) but then they have bits of beard that grow and then get shorn at varying points in the month.
    OH only wet shaves.
    What do para bans r?

Curlies are told by the curly brigade to avoid them too now. And silicones. I can't imagine giving up silicone, though dh's hair is fine with out 'cones'. Its the step I cannot take.....yet.

Sarah Beeny is very anti Parabens.

Off the top of my head I think they are a chemical that makes the product have foam and also a preservative.
They are a bit like Aspartame (the sweetener banned in USA but in everything over here) and have had tests that show they 'cause' cancers and stuff.

I buy paraben free shampoo and shower gel from TK Maxx. It doesn't foam up like normal shampoo/shower gel but does the job.

I got an Argan oil one from TK Maxx that would suit curly hair as it's lovely and silky.

    I know but £180 every 2 years for 20 years = £1800

    whereas £550 for 18 years = well....£550

You would have it for life :). They do painted wood (as well as veneers) so you could change the colour as and when......it's more an heirloom bed rather than a stop gap bed.

    Woo hoo! Congratulations Masomnia!
Do any of the nice men use an electric shaver? ( is that a sensitive question? )

Still playing catch up so don't know if you've had an answer yet, DH does.

On the subject of shaving... DH is blond and not very hairy. Not sure it would work for fir, who lives up to his acronym.

...enjoy...that plate would actually kill me :)

I am so allergic to oysters ....and anything with even a trace of that fish sauce....which includes every single dish at a Wagamamas including the vegan option (which proves it isn't vegan).
Last time I got caught out was in Brighton in 2007 as our friends loved that place. My throat started to close up so I couldn't breathe (after 3 mouthfuls) and then I felt dizzy (like drugged dizzy). I survived by sitting and breathing deeply but we had to leave not long after and I passed out when we got in the car and had to carried to bed. Woke at 5 am feeling top of the world :)

I have never heard the word parabens before this thread... and have absolutely no idea what it/they are, or if it's important/urgent/dangerous or what!
