What do para bans do nikkster?

Curlies are told by the curly brigade to avoid them too now. And silicones. I can't imagine giving up silicone, though dh's hair is fine with out 'cones'. Its the step I cannot take.....yet.

I'd guess that curlies are told to avoid silicones as the silicones 'coat' the hair and it builds up or something like that? But that you like them because they smooth?

Would you like me to delete question?

I like silicones like frizzease because it......eases frizz. :). The argument against it from curlies is that its meant to be drying and so become more and more dependant on it. One of the main schools of curly doctrine :) support the use of quite basic hair gel to combat frizz. Fir likes that so etimes. I prefer to cocktail a curling cream and frizzease usually. Fir can use a curling cream with no frizzease.

I don't feel you fit into the pmt stereotype my sugar pie. I feel you are grumpy because you said so and thus I want you to be happier because I care about you so I seek solutions...chocolate or carbs is one that might suit many women 25 percent of the time ( with or with without pmt..) so its an obvious first suggestion. :)

    Did you try it! :)

Someone brought chocolate along to a meeting. Would have been rude not to :)

    As for carbs...
My mum used to make mushy peas.

Fish and chips and mushy peas for lunch :D

Today is not a diet day.

Ottoman, with gas lifts, at £139.

    Should I, shouldn't I, is it rubbish...?
    Who knows.

It's rubbish as we bought one of their 'gas lift' beds for DD room (I think it was about £180 odd) and it was difficult to put together (bearing in mind OH is a chippy and can put stuff together with no instructions) and was installed in about Oct 2013.

DD is very gentle with her belongings and it hasn't had any rough treatment in any way and the gas lift doesn't work properly and it's creaky and totally carp basically.

She / we are looking to buy a new one at the moment.

I would recommend Warren Evans ..they do regular offers on a bed and mattress for about £550 and they are so stable and comfortable, I feel that the extra spent is a 'saving' as we won't need to replace them for years. I bought 2 diff ones.

Hmm, TRV theft, lets think about motive...

Chocolate is ok but if it didn't exist I wouldn't be upset - something wrong with me?
No...I am the same. Rarely eat it but don't mind the odd one if it's there. I don't like the really sweet chocolate (like QS).

I'd rather have a poppy myself.

I like the tea towel but couldn't justify £20 for it.

I think we would all second that recommendation.

I dunno - not all studying is enjoyable! ;)

I do feel better, thank you. Think it also a) having a moan to a friend at work and b) being told this afternoon (by an external collaborator who is very clever) that something I said a couple of weeks ago that had been (politely) dismissed was actually correct :) If it hadn't been specifically pointed it out I probably wouldn't have noticed.

The residual is end-of-year work stress, sharing my space with someone else (who is lovely but...), the usual thesis stuff and fighting the urge to hibernate. I could really do with a break from myself, but that is unlikely to happen. Could be a lot worse.

If I had over £500 to spend on a bed/mattress I'd have found one sooner :)

    John Lewis sale.
