I recently had my motor insurance renewal premium notification from the Co-op. It came to £740.70. I checked the premium against their online quotation system, and that gave me a quotation for £325. I have been a customer of the Co-op now for around 30 years, and I had not realised the extent to which they have been milking their established client base. I am not a happy bunny, and I have asked them to investigate whether I have been overcharged for the last 10 years.
I can only suggest that it is worth double-checking your insurance premiums.
Renewed mine yesterday. Had renewal from directline and noticed that M&S are promising to undercut renewal quotes by £50. Did an online quote with M&S and it came in at £40 below the directline one. Phoned up directline and inquired whether they would like to price match. They said no, which did surprise me. So phoned M&S and they dropped a further £10, so I've saved £60.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Although looking at mysupermarket they don't seem to exist in most shops.
These are ready cooked sausages. Are there any other "already cooked/ready to eat sausages" out there that are readily available?
Yes, Walls microwave sausages. 3 x packs of 2 sausages. About £2.50. I think they work out cheaper than the Mattessons ones. In the chiller cabinet but can be frozen. Tesco and Asda sell them, but I've never seen in Sainsbury. Different flavours: standard, black pepper, BBQ are the ones I've seen.Called in at Aldi on my way home tonight. No insulating tape (as far as I could tell... there was a lot of 'stuff'). Did spot some bamboo clothing and thought of LIR/ FIR - though I'm not sure Aldi says 'Happy Christmas my dearest'...
Sorry to hear that:(.
Having seen bush fires in Aus, I am a great respecter of their power. There's nothing as scary as a sky on fire.
Just watching Children in Need. Then I looked for free events to go to this weekend - yet again, absolutely nothing. Not even a cold/wet car boot sale.
I don't drink wine, I've no Pepsi and I've not made bread.
I don't qualify as any of the above - so far after work have taken 2 of 3 kids to youth club and back (DD2 has a temperature), done dinner and washing up and now have to hire a car for tomorrow as ours is definitely not up to a 100 mile round tripNeed at least 6 seats so price goes up from 12 quid (golf) to 52 quid (zafira)
Also tomorrow is football, drama class, tesco, inlaw family party in kent () and Sunday there is church (= lie in for me
) then return hire car and kids drama school audition.

If you have to live in the bush, can't see why one of those wouldn't be the way to go...
You can do a lot with more 'normal' houses though as well...

I got home a bit later than usual and there's nowhere to park anywhere near my house andso I'm now parked several streets away. No idea what's going on to explain all the cars, vans etc. parked in all directions. Still makes me go on a healthy walk to and from the car. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I definitely qualify as single. I've got expensive taste thoughThe third is a matter of opinion.
It's also Friday night over here. I've got Annie Mac on medium loud (as opposed to the LOUD it would be if I was lodger-free). Was tempted to crack open a beer, but decided not to. Instead I'm treating myself to... cleaning :rotfl:
