Right. So 2 hours gives me some time to check out freecycle etc. These are the items in the last 24 hours from the sites:

Trashnothing.org - up to 40 miles radius. There are no photos and barely a description: dog coat; american style fridge/freezer - not working; skybox and old sky remote; flatscreen TV; scooter; dehumidifier; under cupboard lights; folding Z bed 1960s; firewood; HP printer cartridges; broken microwave.

    Freecyle - joined 2 groups

Group1 - 15 miles: Posted today: beige carpet offcuts; a bit of worktop; EFL materials; another bit of worktop; digital radio; glass display cabinet; misc kitchen crockery/mugs.

    Group2 - 35 miles: Posted today - Removal boxes.

Freegle - 10-30 miles: Last post was a garage door in mid July.

Freegle - 20-35 miles: A torn Ikea paper lamp; old PC tower without a PSU, HD or memory; Sky HD box, no remote; rowing machine; broken flatscreen TV; a picture for a wall of a riverside; a vacuum cleaner; 6 moving boxes; old/dated single bed without mattress and 2nd bed underneath it.

Anything catch your eye?? No, mine neither. :)

A quiet day on offered here today - only 11 posts including a 12 foot sailing boat, a teak extending dinng table and 4 chairs, various baby bits and pieces including mamas and paps branded staff, an office style chair etc - I would say most days there are 20 plus post. A a fair bit of the furniture in here is from freecycle including the table I am sitting at (really large extending dining table seats up to 12), the chair I am sitting on, two of the chrome and leather barstools, the portable keyboard and stand, a nice pine chest of drawers and that is just the bits I can see from here....
    I think....

MASSIVE flash of lightning and immediate HUGE thunder clap here. Whole house shook for 10 seconds!! Patio doors were still moving when I'd stood, got there and opened the curtains to see if anything was on fire!!

Shut down the PC, in case - bit of a joke really as it takes 10 minutes to shut it down. Back now and thought I'd check Twitter. Two posts on there from round here:

"Never heard thunder like it before"
"Loudest clap of thunder ever! Nearly gave me a heart attack"

They were understating it. Business alarms still going off within earshot. I bet something's been hit within 200 yards.

I don't think it would be possible to dream up a story like this. It combines macabre with absurd.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

You are finally relieved of this burden?

You'd have thought it'd have been better to offer free cremations to poor people, rather than paying for corpses.

Possibly - if I get a reply saying don't bother, I'm not interested in putting any effort into this as you're not going to make it in time.

Otherwise I have at least a couple of chapters to finish off - and whatever else is found to be needed to make it submittable.

I think there is a 50:50 chance of either option. Both have their advantages! (and disadvantages)

That should be my tagline really.
    :)

((HUGS)). Or rather, not-hugs, as you don't like them :)

my nails are unpainted at present, but look quite good. I am keeping them a bit shorter as my left hand curls up tightly and the nails dig into the palm. yesterday OH used an oil and salt scrub to give me an all over exfoliate. my skin is now soft and smells of herbs. he massaged my feet. my toes are unpainted but the nails look really clean, well shaped with neat cuticles.i felt like he scrubbed the last of the hospital off me. it was lovely .

my oh and dd have been so wonderful over the last two months. I have never felt more loved. both of them have put me first time after time.

That really made me :):):). How lovely! I know my OH loves me dearly, but he would not be able to do anything like that for me. The idea would make him literally shudder.
