Especially with a long rope (in my day) or a kinetic recovery strap (giant bungee cord) these days......;)
Tractors could cut hedgerows here much of last year. Too wet. I like a late slot so that we get protection from our messy hedges for a long while ( but look like hoodlums) and I was due to be done the week heavens opened then they just couldn't get on the land for months. When they tried they were on someone else's LANd and the tractor got stuck and a nother tractor had to haul them off.

Failing that, we'd have drunk the bottle of single malt and set the car on fire as the tide came in as a nod to Viking funeral ceremonies, then called it in as stolen.
Being in discussion with the council wouldn't even have registered on the scale of possible outcomes.....:rotfl:
I wonder if they're townies and some prankster had painted a parking bay onto the sand?
There's supposed to be a seaside village in Cornwall or somewhere where the locals bring picnic lunched and sit on a wall to watch any the cars parked in the bottom of the square get flooded as the tide rises. :eek:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Could call in the armed services, see if they want to use it as a training exercise.0

It is a requirement to ride with lights in the UK after the street lights go on and anyone that doesn't go out lit up like a Christmas tree is a fool IMHO.
When I ride after dark I have 2 front lights (one flashing, one not) a flashing rear light and 2 lights on my helmet. Day or night I wear a bright top, black shorts with reflective strips and a reflective helmet. If I use a backpack it also has reflective strips. I still often get SMIDSY (sorry mate I didn't see you).

Apart from style considerations, why are cycling shorts black? From the rear, the shorts are pretty much all a motorist sees. Surely, white or dayglo is the right colour? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Fair question.
It's a bit like why do so many people wear seal coloured wetsuits when diving/surfing in water that is known to contain sharks? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'm sure the owner will be well pleased to get his spoiler back. And possibly his boot lid with it. How much more than normal does a Toyota Celica weigh when the passenger compartment is filled with mud?
Isn't this a bit like someone being stuck in quicksand? If you pull too hard you'd rip someone in two because of the suction (other rescue techniques are available).;)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Meh.....
Must have been one of those Soft Southern Tractors.
Our tractors are beasts.....
And sometimes just tracked....
And when all else fails, they usually have a digger kicking about somewhere.....
