Oooh I'm just outside the top 200!
Had a nice weekend visiting friends. London Saturday night and then up to Sheffield for the past two. Three heavy nights and I'm feeling a bit ropey though. So looking forward to sleeping properly in my own bed.
Bulgarian was at the party Saturday night, and I'm really not over her at allWe ended up having a pretty emotional discussion about it all, and it wasn't very pleasant. We had a chat on the phone earlier in the week which was very nice, so I thought things were ok between us, but now I'm not so sure. She's always given me very mixed signals.
Suggested a drink with German Friday night. I talked to a friend at this party about it, and she said that she is still with the boyfriend (which I kind of suspected) but it's definitely on the rocks and looking like ending. I don't know if I mentioned but I knew that she was with someone a few months ago (Martin, nice chap) but on our coffee 'date' and the day we were working together she didn't mention him once, and told me she felt she has no reason to go to back to Germany (he lives in Stuttgart). So I still feel justified in asking her out, if she'd wanted me to know she wasn't single she'd have said something. Anyway, she's said she might be up for it, but she's got a cold, which I'm not sure I believe. We shall see.
In nicer news I've had my suit bought for me for the wedding next yearI'm being the best man so if anyone has speech writing tips to share that would be very much appreciated!
Job interview tomorrow, but I have to be honest I'm not sure I want the job. Which in a way takes the pressure off a bit. I'll get a better idea about that tomorrow! Still waiting for a call about the perfect job in Blackfriars (moving to Canary Wharf in January), so I've got everything crossed for that one. The recruitment guy phoned me about it, and it's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for, and I reckon I'm what they're looking for.
I'll stop going on anywayHope you're all well.

Mas - I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, so apologies if it comes across that way. But...
If you're not over the Bulgarian yet, is it such a great idea to be working on the next date? Whether or not she is still in her previous relationship.
Not intended as any kind of a criticism, but maybe something to consider?
Edit: good luck for the interview, and esp for the perfect job application0 -

Thanks for the good luck wishes!
I did consider that. Thing is, I know what I'm like, and until I meet someone else I won't be able to move on. And like I say, AFAIK she still hasn't ended things with the current one... It's only a drink anyway, even if nothing came of it it would be nice to go out with someone.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

I wouldn't get involved where someone already has 'squatters rights'. Is I how you would want your relationship with some one to end?0 -

Speaking very personally, I would also not to get involved with someone who is not over their previous partner either. As I've said before, I'm not up for competing. And I know I can be jealous (generally turns out there is a reason...).0 -

I say go have a nice drink. It's for her to judge her current relationship. Then I do throw myself at life headfirst.0 -

Thirded. Lots of potential to get messy. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
