Don't worry I can afford one I just don't want to pay over the odds for a device to carry out pretty basic tasks (which is what most users do).

For a large number of apple users it is just a designer brand, must have accessory I'm afraid.

All these products, Apple, Microsoft, Android can do much, much more than 99% of users will ever need so just pick the one you like the look of for whatever reason and enjoy it.

It depends, they do seem to have a rep for users being posers.
But then that's a view usually pushed by Android users, while they circulate posters of features that new iPhones get that old Android phones have.
While a lot of Android users are happy deep down because they know once Apple pushes a feature, it will become mainstream, like NFC probably will become in a bit because Apple is now onboard, sort of.

I dunno, I've used Android and BlackBerry over the last few years and have now switched to an iPhone 6. I wouldn't go back.
I also use a Macbook exclusively now, and wouldn't go back to my Windows laptops unless something major changed.

Some Apple users act silly and childish, but so do some Android users. That's life I guess.
