Hi masonic - can you confirm that 18185 etc is still working on your EE line?
I don't seem to be able to access it using 18185, but their 0808 freephone number is working for me.
Also, does EE charge the same for 0844xxxxxx numbers as BT?
I don't think so, not that I'm familiar with BT's prices having not had a phone service with BT for over a decade. I've also always been able find an alternative to any 0844 number, so didn't pay any attention to those costs when comparing.

I don't agree that there is a contact telephone number for customers who have taken out a deal offered exclusively by MSE. I can't find a suitable email contact either for customers.
I'm surprised by that because an email address for voucher queries is stated both on the offer page and within the offer email sent out that contains the voucher link.
If you have any problems signing up, call 0800 079 5213 or for any voucher queries email eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com.

And a telephone number for customers who want to contact MSE, or an email address for MSE customer queries? I'm sure you would have noticed the email you mention does not put you in contact with MSE, which is what quite a few posters are asking about.

Most people want to contact the company responsible for the vouchers, which isn't MSE. Nobody is a customer of MSE, so there are no customer queries for MSE to answer. Some people who have phoned EE about the vouchers have been misinformed, which perhaps goes some way to explaining the confusion.

People are more likely to achieve results by contacting the voucher company directly - by all accounts they are responding to queries albeit slowly. Realistically, all MSE can do is stop advertising the deal if they believe its users aren't getting what they signed up for. That won't help anyone who has already signed up though.

I had a problem when my 3 months was up. I e-mailed Harry, got a response and replied but then didn't hear anything so through a bit of googling found out it's done through affiliate window http://www.affiliatewindow.com/uk/ if you wait you'll see it's one of the companies they deal with. Anyway I found there Facebook page and wrote on it. They replied and then gave me another email address to respond to. Pretty much 10 days after messaging on Facebook I got my vouchers.

Must say it really is a bargain for what I get for the money. Admittedly I'm not a gamer, so not sure what it's like for gaming, but for what I use it for it's ace

I have to say these days Facebook works wonders. I've lost count how many times I've used Facebook about a problem and got it resolved. Email sometimes help, but all I'll get with calls is either we'll call you back or fob you off

I was asking about 0844 because we make a lot of international calls and then often use either 18185/1899 or 0844 providers - so I wouldn't want to lose the price advantage if EE charges much more than BT for the 0844 numbers.
  • So, I signed up to EE after seeing the deal to get £120 i Amazon Vouchers, I used the correct link, I told EE when I originally signed up but nothing came. I called EE to daid to call back 3 months after activation so I called back to be told to contact eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com and they did not respond, I've chased 5 times and they still ask for more information each time even though I sent all the information they originally requested.

Disappointed and its so disorganised and no one to contact to help as EE state its not their problem and eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com. have to be chased to get basic response but no commitment to if they are going to send the vouchers

    Any ideas??

Oh, those sorts of 0844 numbers. I'm only aware of 2 price bands used by these: 0844 86X (pricing is the same) and 0844 56X (EE is 7.5ppm vs. 5.11ppm with same connection charge). So you might be ok depending on which of those services you tend to use.

All they need is your order reference number from EE and the email address you used to sign up for the voucher.

I emailed them on Monday and received a reply today confirming my order didn't track and my details will be added to the file for processing at the end of the month.
  • Please do not make the mistake I have made I switched last Friday 14/11/14 they disconnected my service with sky but have still to connect me. They are the most incompetent company I have ever come across. They put you on hold put the phone down promise to call back. I am typing this while on hold yet again. They have just said technical department is closed. I am high priority for tomorrow I was today but they did not call. I cannot believe this deal is promoted by money saving expert I have reported them to Ofcom because I cannot just switch to another company until my broadband is live with EE. Yet because my phone line is live the clock is ticking on the 14 day cancellation. I have just paid £50 for mi-fi because I work from home. If anyone has any ideas to get me out of this mess I would appreciate it. EE should be banned from home broadband trust me I would not wish this on my worst enemy!! update 20/11/14 I have been into EE shop they put me through to the high priority team they say I am being connected by 9 pm tomorrow night!! This company is a Joke.
