Just wondering do you know something I don't?? Power cut??Work to live= not live to work0 -
Yes looks like this Abigail has been spelled wrongly; it should be Abiggale!
Not much happening here yet, but it was mizzling and squally this afternoon as I buried the conduit that will protect the oil pipe leading to the boiler room. Managed to put the thing in purgatory (can't move one way or the other) and plonked some concrete on each end to keep it that way.
Not much else to report: sowed a few seeds, pulled up most of the peppers, cut down all but 5 tomato plants and potted-on some sweet williams.
Good for you, taking whatever classes you fancy, CTC. Here, they are laying on some basic Internet lessons, and that's about it in the village. I think I'll probably pass on that one!
Hope choille is OK ...:)0 -
oooooooooooo im in love with THE most gorgeous marshmallow on legs !! this lab pup is sooooo yummy.
picked him up with big dog and pup has played with bimble till he literally fell asleep in a heep on the floor... scruffy mutt is not too impressed and looks to me for security when a golden "bomb" whizzes past him :rotfl:
considering I had 11 of these running round a few years back.. [ old gal had 11 pups !! ] this ONE is a doddle..

Been a run of bad luck here this week with a never ending stream of unexpected and ludicrous expenses so yet again we are going to have to tighten our belts and hunt out more ongoing savings
There are also a number of things that we need for the winter so some careful shopping is required.
Back to basics here with meal planning, working to reduce energy bills, de cluttering and clearing things through gumtree/ebay as well as exploring other savings options and money generators.
The weather here has been wild today and we have had cloud, rain, snow and thunder storms  I am feeling more and more that this will be a hard winter and I am keener than ever to be well prepared.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

Morning all,
Such sad, sad news from Paris..leaving me quite numb..
No words of sorrow etc will help the family and friends, the grief will last an eternity ....Work to live= not live to work0 -
It's terrible news. I don't know if it will last an eternity, but it will have a lot of yearsof utter pain for many people.
I just haet the thought of repercussions & more & more violence.
Very cold ere & hailstorms again.
I've been dodging in & out trying to get some old bits of plywood broken up into peices for the stove. My hands are singing with the cold now.0
