bluddy hell...its pitch black and im just heading off up the M3 to heathrow... roadworks for miles:eek:
Have a safe journey..
Talking of dark mornings.. Anyone know when the clocks go back?? I think it's normally the end of October??
I have been setting up an etsy shop yesterday..worth a try... Alot of people, are saying it is slow in the begining, and its all about networking to get views for your listings ( this is where fb comes in handyas there are certain fb pages where you just view each others ships and listings etc) the more views you get, the higher up in the product search you go..
Thinking now that online sales will be our main income, I don't want to put all my eggs in the eBay basket..
Def getting colder in the nights..

Colder than Siberia: Scotland is set to face freezing temperatures as Beast from the East approaches
Oh, dear!
Been continuing to plant bulbs in pots, actually I've run out of tulips so ordered some from Crocus plus a wisteria (25% off) which I'll use on the pergola to replace a honeysuckle which is very prone to mildew.
Some of the pots ready to be tucked out of sight until spring. The pans of alpines have done well, they are all under the rain canopy although the weather hasn't been too bad for the last few weeks!
NB found the Agapanthus I potted a few months back has already cracked its clay pot! Now in a plastic tub.0 -

I think they said we might have some frost in the coming week, even in these balmy southern regions IHS.:( Protecting tender perennials is still far from my mind, but I suppose if push came to shove, I could do the lot in an hour.
Finishing off my block work this morning, I had to wear a sweater for the first time in months, but the wind changed, so by the afternoon's log cutting I was back to shirtsleeves. I cut up a load of old rubbish really: willow and such like, but it's all free and preserves the decent stuff for later.;)
Inside the polytunnel, the red peppers are still mostly green. There's still plenty of tomatoes, but the cucumbers have almost had it. I'm not very happy with the chillies I grew, as three of my four plants have produced hundreds of completely heat-less chillies, while the fruit on the other one nearly blows people's heads off! I blame open pollination. Some seeds are probably worth paying a bit more for!0 -
 we have started to get quotes for the work  I was completely oblivious as to how much flooring/doors/decorating work costs and I am so shocked at the prices we have had so far!
We are going to wait until all the quotes are in and then decide what our priorities are. I can see us doing even more of the work ourselves than we had hoped to do. It was be marvellous when it is doneTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0
