So there is no confusion or unfounded accusation to other party I have reported a post to try and get a link deleted. I discussed the 'contretemps' on here with fir last night with fir and he agreed with me that in context with mention of Internet stalking it seemed inappropriate to have a link to someone else's home with details of items possibly stored there and other comments whether by people have met this person or by others who have not.

This is no reflection of the rest of the conversation but I am saying I made the report so that if fingers are pointed and there is further animosity the fingers get pointed at the right person. I'm sorry if this causes upset, but it doesn't sit well with me.

    Plumber hasn't come.

He's phoned & said he'll come tomorrow if we pay him 1st. We hear he was completely legless last night.
OH & I had words as I'm all for going elsewhere as it's like blackmail.

Congrats of the piggy wiggies CTC - how nice.
id tell him to go put his plunger where the sun don't shine ;)
IT IS BLACKMAIL.... and doesn't bode well for his work IMO...

it may call his bluff [if he needs money] to get off his butt and finish what he started... his choice not yours... doesn't help with your plumbing but youde be a tad  if he does a botch job and you've paid him....

    good luck xxx

    Evening all

Just back to have a quick bath, then back up the old ranch..

LIR.. Totally agree with your post/ actions...

Choille, what a poo bag of a plumber, is there anyway of finding another one???

I personally would tell him to go forth and multiply..I would def go to a builders merchant/ trade supplier and ask if the know any good honest plumbers, even if you got to wait a few more weeks for the work to be done, I would rather that, than pay this one to finish the work, who's to say he wouldn't doma potch job???

Yep no more sleepless nights , well worrying about diva pig giving birth anyway lol...

    Piggy pics please. :)

Right, in other news, will someone pLEASE give me a kick up the arris about decorating. Today we bought a bed to replace bed we don't like very much ( going back to non resident parent). And a cupboard that looks like it came out of Brighton Pavillion and won't actually fit where we wanted it too, so I'm going to finally get in gear and decorated the dressing room and stop worrying about ugly modern space saving design and have something I like in stead. ( yay) but that is ridiculous for the space!!

I'm having a wee bit of a crisis about decorating because while I love flamboyance I don't like a visual migraine and I want a very hold photo wall throughout the hall way, but that leads into a pokey narrow corridor.

I've seen a mirrored wallpaper ( looks like antiqued mirrored tiles ) that I love but is ott with the other stuff going on I think........but then I keep thinking, but it would use REAL glass.....

So I need to think about this.

did you consider the mirrored wardrobe door I have for that end of corridor ?
perhaps a wall light [like a picture one] above it to illuminate the area/mirror

LIR decorate your home in a way that makes your heart sing and forget about convention. We lived in a beige flat for a few years as we new we were going to sell it. Now that we are in our forever home (unless we come into money ;)) we have decorated it in a way that makes us happy, even if it doesn't really match the style of house we are in.

I put up fly paper yesterday and I woke this morning to find the flies sitting next to it completely unscathed. It is so frustrating
