No show plumber. Being trying to raise him, but no joy so have left a message on his answer machine to let him know we no longer require his services as to be honest my gut cannot take it.
Now we know where we stand. Thing is we went to collect something late yesterday in a rush - we could have gone today & done a dozen other things if we'd known he wasn't going to come. It's months of being messed about & I literally cannot take it any more.
It's totally pouring down - monsoon season again. Not done anything just so narked at the plumber & the time I've wasted.
Alfie EA s are quite low down on the respectable occupation graph - above pimps but below car salesmen. Apologies to any EA's relatives, but just a considered opinion. So on a par with freaking plumbers then! Sorry to use the plumber word again, but that's how I see it at the mo.
The boys are still out trimming the grass & the shrubs & trees probably, but I'll leave them for just now.0 -
choille... sorry re " the man who's supposed to know his plunger from a Fawcett" BUT id do what ctc advised and see if a good building merchant has any names/numbers.. to be honest some good general builders are just as good as long as its not needing a certificate of sorts.
ive done all my jobs today bar mow... cant get mower to work :mad:0 -
Grrr, mower problems are infuriating.
I have a downstairs sink table! I am on a roll. Now I just have to decide on whether I want more taste full white shell tiles ( leaning to this) or glorious but probably prone to getting bored of paua shell ones. Its just a splash back area. Oh, and I could do with finding a graffiti artist, I have decided I want ombr! walls, and I know I cannot do them.. ( and the wall paper is £205 for four drops) .

Like this. The indigo might work, but in need it the same blue as the down stairs loo ceiling, and hung upside down, so dark going to light.
However, that would be an arresting piece of wall art0 -
We can finish the plumbing - we will, it's just a pain being treated in such a fashion.
What are ombr walls?
Hi Lucielle - You have a good week & don't work too hard.
I think Banksy is busy - P.S I do own a Banksy. It's going in the loo!0 -

Ombre. There is an accent over the 'e' so it doesn't show here, accented letters often do that here, weird.0
