    Morning all

Don't know what's going on??? But let's get back to moaning and groaning about the weather and plumbers/builders etc

    Ooooo ye and Diva PIgs...

Well diva pig is really milking this one.... I'm sure when these piglets eventually arrive, they will be bacon pigs lol...

Glad you like my remark ' point of contentment'..as I said I would love to buy the big field to add to our smallholding , I would love to have a big huge barn on our land etc, BUT.. There cones a point where you just got to realise you can only chase and achieve so much,, and be contented with what you have achieved, otherwise you just keep trying to chase things, and before you know it, time has run out and you have enjoyed what you have got.. I am soooo proud of what we have achieved work wise, and and achieving my dream of buying a smallholding

Are you at least getting to doze out in your beautiful new herb garden?

Actually,I'm stay I ng awake, :o I have yoga this afternoon. but I'm going to have a bath in some liquorice oil. And leave some deep conditioner in my during yoga ( attractive, huh? :D.....I am the opposite of yoga chic) until I have a shower later. I do doze out there quite a bit, but they are bringing in silage in dribs and drabs this week. Never seen such a slow bringing in of silage. It seems very odd. Must be allowing more than usual amount of botulism etc in I would have thought.

    IHS - I no nuffink.

Message from plumber yesterday & looks like he'll come back on Friday if e gets paid in full. He's making it sound like we are the prob, but we know of at least three others who have been at him for months to get finished.

We've paid him quite a bit already, but we wanted to hold back the full amount so we had him needing to finish so we would settle in full then. We've paid for all materials so he's not out of pocket on those. But it's like blackmail.

OH has had the hospital contact to offer him his op with a locum, but he, & also I aren't sure that that is good. He's met the surgeon who was supposed to do the op & seemed to have loads of experience & OH was confident in him, but seems there out with their timescale. Trying to make an informed choice is hard without speaking with someone medical. Tried to phone a doc I know but I think they are working abroad at the mo.
Hairy cat covered in ticks so Frontline him once I've caught the little biter.

I have been working hard in the garden the last couple of days :) Yesterday I tackled the front and it is looking much tidier, although still not great. I also picked up a couple of Fushia bushes that were down to a £1 so they have filled some empty pots.

Today I tackled the back patio and it is not presentable and ready for us to fully enjoy. I had planned on using the pressure washer to really shine it up however when I plugged it in the power seemed to be intermittent so I am guessing its broke :(

The next plan is the side garden which has scary high grass  and I think it will take a lot of time and determination to get it cleared :rotfl:
