It's been a glorious day here.

Got on great with stuff - for a change after yesterday. Went to vote and the loony who pushed me over at Christmas time was coming out of the school & started shouting that I had a problem with my face etc etc. OH told her to back off -- I don't really know this woman.... LONG STORY SHORT as they say, went round to see her Mum who I know very well. The daughter is 40, but obviously 'needs help!' Turns out she attacked her & she hasn't seen her for weeks coz she's really scared of her & she hurt her father who tried to get her out of the house. The daughter has a couple of kids. It's quite worrying......but I do feel sorry for her parents, but also concerned for the wee kiddies who have a very disturbed Mother.

Forgot to mention that the SNP got a few seats.................

Goodness, choille, that was bad timing!

There seem to be so many people with anger issues, but it sounds as if that woman may have schizophrenia of some kind.

Tinky looking reasonably alert this morning.....well, almost more alert than me, anyroad. :o

We are off to the village Market later, where I hope to re-home many tomato plants. :D

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

    Dull and chilly here today.

Good news re Tinky Winky Dave. Interesting thread here on Trichomaniasis http://forum.backyardpoultry.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7984614
Did you get her some Metronidazole? If so it should do the trick. Seems from the discussion that like a lot of things Trich is opportunistic, is Tinky otherwise stressed for any reason?

Didn't get out to the greenhouse yesterday, too tired, but hope it brightens up and I can chill out in there for a bit today......
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Flipping heck choille, it might be worth just having an informal/ formal chat with your local police, to make them aware of her, you might not be alone she might be doing this to other people too, if this was happening to me I would be worried..

Hope you have a good day Davesnave.. Let me/ us know how you got on...

The people with the pots are only selling one polytunnel which is 21 metres long, and she thinks its approx 4 metres wide, no plastic etc just the tubes, been trying to find the best and cheapestbplace to buy the plastic?? ( davesnave??) She wants £180 for it, which comparing it to the kits etc of the same size on first tunnels looks like a good price even with the prices we have seen for the plastic.

If we do get it, all I need them is a good professional type propagater and I will be a very happy bunny lol...

Carnidazole, which is just as good, I think. Thanks for the link. :T

Definite improvement today and a very normal poo, which shows her insides are fine and we're getting food into her OK. :)

Dunno about the cheapest place for plastic CTC, but go for a 'proper' brand, like Visiqueen, as they will have guaranteed life spans.

I got my last lot locally. End of roll and no transport charge. One advantage of having Ferryman Polytunnels nearby.

    hi all..

CTC.... I notice my ex neighbour;) [at last home] is selling lots of polytunnel frames [hes a huge strawberry grower] ... do you want me to find out how much ? he may have the covers as well ? I know he wont want £180 but obviously distance is the factor. I know they are 19ft wide and looong. he has lots and lots of them so may be able to get one the length you actually want/need. let me know anyway, I can go see him tomorrow...

Thanks Alfie, we can make it as long/ short as we want as you just don't add more hoops lol

I am gutted as the person with the pots said they sold all the polytunnels irrigation systems for £40 ...must have been on eBay a while ago..

Its worth asking, ask if he got irrigation system and professional propegater..

    It doesn't cost to ask....

Will def look at ferryman site re- plastic costs

Nooooooo! I meant look in your own area for a place you can visit. Mr Ferryman isn't especially cheap, but we were able to do a deal last time, face to face. ;):D

    Anyway, you have....

    Ooooh I can't find anyone! :o:o:o

All I could find was :
    http://www.fivestarpolytunnels.co.uk/visit-us-our-showroom

    which isn't exactly local. :(

In other news, we made a few £££ in the village Market today :D and someone from a larger nearby village invited us to join theirs....:)

So, that looks like 2 Saturday mornings a month accounted for. :o

We know how this sort of thing ends, so we'll have to be careful! :rotfl:
