    hi all....

I don't do hairdressers either ! that's why my hair resembles a horses mane !:rotfl:

well mum came out for the day with me whilst her home was invaded by viewers... 14 in all. not long taken her home..
agent rang me to say theyd finished [7pm] AND that they have "yet to be confirmed" 3 offers of full asking price and they expected it to rise  I have told mum that what the viewers say today may not be the same tomorrow so don't get too excited now... also there is no flat free yet :o ive said if she gets a fantastic cant refuse offer she can sell and come live here till she finds a flat... her reply "ooo I could do allsorts for you" which left me wondering if it was such a good idea !;) :rotfl:... my sheds full of carp would be shaking in their boots

Day in bed today post lottie day yesterday :o

But we got some nice shallots appear to be growing - fingers crossed of course that the slugs don't arrive and chomp!

Here's a bit of a shot of most of lottie from where I was weeding by the "pond" yesterday...

There's a load more land further to the right, but it's poor and has lots of carp underneath it, so we're trying to get ground cover type stuff growing on it so it at least looks ok. Lots of grass on it still so need to shear that down.

well the good news is I called hoss owners bluff and we are now the proud owners of both hoss's ;) :j...
long story but I just knew there was something more to it all and she suddenly said if we REALLY wanted them and we REALLY loved them so much we could have them for £****'s...
I told her she had to be having a laugh and NO .
and she was to make and pay for all transport costs as she wanted them back, on the date we said. I said we would have paid what we originally suggested but not anymore after her silly price and trying to pull a fast one.. thankyou.
she has now come back saying she will accept a now MUCH lower than our original price ;)
im convinced they never intended to keep them and wanted money from us all along .. she certainly aint going to the bahama's ... :rotfl:

Eek how horrid is that - foster them to you and then want money for you to keep them. (that's what it sounds like to me anyway or did I get it wrong?) Grrr. Glad you got it sorted dear Alfie. :)

Some folks Alfie beggar belief. I'm glad you've got them.

Maggie - the lottie looks very neat & tidy. We will have masses of wild primroses out down the croft.

I put in a couple of rows of Pink Fir Apple potatoes this afternoon even though it's really cold, I felt I'd better make a start. My back is feeling it.

LOL the lottie is a mess! That's the growing side... T'other side is covered in plastic weed suppressant stuff. And weeds.

Hopefully we'll get there later in the year! ;)

OH planted the second row of spuds at lottie yesterday - second earlies, Kestrel. We prefer to have the main crop at home at least at present. We're a bit boring potato wise, just take what can get cheap from lottie shop. Though miss having Charlottes. Next year might do different.

The seed tatties - The pink apple firs were a gift, so that was nice. I do love them as a salad spud. I do like the odd oddity such as Arran Blacks as they just look weird boiled - blue on the plate. But I do go for whatever comes into a community shop that I frequent when I escape the West Coast.

Morning all, there must have something else done when I had my hair cut lol. As I went home and deep cleaned the toilet !!!!!!! And bathroom! Lol

Do feel so much better in myself now...

Back to work today.... And its BACON DAY!!!! Can't wait will, so our tea tonight will consist of streaky bacon, back bacon, gammon steaks, and the odd bit of pineapple and the odd egg, which will be prob left on the plate lol..

I really do need to get my spuds in too

Super news about the hosses, alfie. They'd need to be up early in the morning to catch you out! :rotfl:

The lottie area we can see looks good anyway, maggie. :T

My last visit to a hairdresser was in 1979....:D Mind you, I hated the hairy aspect of being a hippie and I was really pleased when everyone else went hairy (around 1971) and I could cut mine off to be different!:p:rotfl:

Damn nippy here this morning with a dusting of snowy stuff on the poly, which wasn't very welcome, bearing in mind all our peppers and toms are in there, under fleece, fortunately.

We were in yet another kitchen place yesterday! :( It's a local firm, usually bespoke, which has now branched into a limited range of units to compete with the likes of H*wd*ns. The idea of having the carcasses made just down the road appeals, but as always, only if the price is right.;)
