>is a way I can share just one photo bucket album in in a collection? <
I think so, drop all the photos to share into an album, mark it as public & post a link to the slideshow.0 -
How are things today I have spoken?
I'll take some pictures over the next couple of weeks and have a play with photobucket.
It was being a pain at the weekend. I have some in other albums no one here wants to see, I'm certain!0 -

I need to do exactly the same thing LIR - mine has all sorts of old house/pet stuff in it that would bore the pants off most people, lol :rotfl:
As our new garden starts coming back to life I really want to share the transformation with everyone hereMortgage-free for fourteen years!

Well, mum's still hanging on and they are continuing active treatment. I visited after work and she'd been for an abdominal x-ray but nothing obvious was seen. She was pretty much exhausted but registered I was there, so just taking things as they come.0 -
everyone enjoying the sunshine ? albeit poor choille seems to have a lack of it I think ..:o. im sure she will have lots soon.
ive had a lot of interest in the garden furniture... but why do people offer you less for a "buy it now" when its up for auction ?? I just tell them I am letting it run wether I shoot myself in the foot or not !
ive just been given some gardening stuff ... a small wood chipper, a leaf blower and a hedgetrimmer.
also possibly for CTC a biggish electric woodstove... my thinking was that it would LOOK like a real stove and the lights could be on flicker and it would look cosy [not necessarily using the heat bit] in a chimney-less fireplace ?? or am I barking up the preverbial wrong tree ?im getting it anyway...:D

IHS I am thinking of you and your family
Alfie You always seem to come across such interesting and useful things!
Well I am hoping to be back posting more now that my laptop is finally fixed :j
The greenhouse has been cleared and things planted so I have been watering daily and am planning on getting a few more things planted up in the next couple of days. I had hoped to get more done but it has been unfavourable weather and on top of that we have all been unwell so I have hardly strayed further than the couch.
This years approach of growing a little though has taken a lot of the pressure off and I am looking forward to fresh peas and courgettes
The back beds are bursting into life with the shaded one looking marginally better than the sunny one. I am delighted with the Fritillaria Meleagris they are so pretty and have loads of flowers. My bleeding hearts came up again and the alliums have got loads of foliage too.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Still quite cold up here.
Finally finished stocktaking. DS1 has finished night lambing and has 2 weeks of day lambing starting tomorrow. Think he's getting a bit sick of lambing!

I haven't been around today as it was my mum's funeral this morning
Thought I'd have a sense of closure afterwards, but just feeling incredibly guilty and bad that things ended the way they did for both my parents. DH says that as they were very proud and independent people there is no point feeling bad that they rejected all our attempts to help ameliorate their situation before things spiralled out of control.....but I still can't help feeling it was all my fault and I should have insisted they listen to us
Rummer - great to *see* you and sorry to hear you've all been unwell. Pleased to hear you're able to rejoin us now your laptop is fixed and that things are taking shape in your garden
Alfie - ebay is so unpredictable - we find that we can list something on a buy-it-now and it doesn't sell, so we relist on an auction with a lower starting price (no reserve) and it ends up going for a higher price than the BIN......go figureGood luck with the furniture!
Having thought things were tailing off due to the nice weather, we've suddenly had an upsurge in sales - DH recently bought a job lot of music related items (his speciality) for a really good price and have made our money back in less than twenty four hours with 90% still to list
Back to the grindstone tomorrow - want to try to get some more of the garden sorted while the good weather lasts....Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

It didn't help much, though, as we were both inside much of the day.
We had a carpet fitted in our new office, so that was good, but I still have to sort out the electrical sockets properly before I can move in. Overall, it's only the electricians who have proved a pain in this refurb.
Worryingly, Pete rang yesterday to say he'd nowhere to take the rubble now, and although he didn't say "and I don't really want it either," that's probably what he meant. It's not harming anyone if it stays where it is for now, but long term I'd like to find it a home!
The first Aga people to reply about removing it for refurb was also a, "not at this time."
So, not a terribly positive start to the week, especially as Devon County Council have just announced that old loft insulation is another thing they are going to charge for, along with a whole list of other things. I can understand why, but as the District Councils know, this will mean more fly tipping, and they'll be the ones picking up the tab at probably x2 times the cost, or more, if it's on their land. On private land, the owners will be the losers.....0 -

It's a common feeling. I felt much the same way about letting Dad stay in his own home, because that's what he wanted, then feeling nothing but resentment for being tied to him and his needs.
Given my time again, I'd do it differently, but then that's true of so many things! I hung on before starting my Daydream adventure so that he and the kids could get the best from the situation we were in, but I'm paying for it now.
And because I'm paying the price, I'm afraid the guilt has long evaporated!0
