( ask Alf off forum for her opinion where she doesn't feel need to be polite to me )

well if you know me you will know I never mince my words....:rotfl:

I think your bathroom is lovely. it is tranquil and a great blend of old base with modern but classy editions... not "blingy"... the floor is perfect and the "waterfall" tap is ingenious.

    apart from that its carp....;)

They are the Italian ones. They aren't as nice as the pair I had up there ( which will now go in my bedroom ) but they'll do. We need things we can keep closed, not for privacy you see, but for the wretched flies.

I would happily give the gorgeous dog a new home ;)

Just been out fertilising the plum tree which got me some very curious looks from passers by :rotfl: In the years we have done that we have got bumper crops :j

There are seedlings popping up in the greenhouse already which has cheered me up no end. Some of them may be weeds but they are flourishing :rotfl:

just had a great pic sent to me of an old iron bed where the "mattress " was a sort of shallow casing [like a big drawer] filled with flowers and hanging over the sides like a big quilt ! looked great.. giving me ideas...

sort of sad news is that the owner of the cob and Shetland we've had on long loan wants them back :( didn't think it would happen as lady had 2 replacement hips and couldn't ride any more. apparently her daughter is going to ride again. she was very nice about it but something doesn't quite gel .... I could be wrong.. I have a feeling they may sell them as I know last time we spoke they were struggling a bit as she couldn't work.. I hope im wrong..
anyway at the end of the day they belong to her and I cant do anything about it.. they go next month.

had the sheep sheared today,, the Jacobs now look like black and white goats...:rotfl:
