I didn't come inside until it was dark, had a curry, watched something on't box and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! :o:D

Silly old Met Office was still telling us we had 13c at lunchtime. Humph! Even the car knew it was 17c, and it was warmer still in the afternoon.

Borders now don't look so :o:o but it will take another day to sort them.

It felt a lot warmer but at lunchtime here it was only 10c. I don't know where it went in the afternoon or what met office said. Fir's nudity is rarely a guide :D it was sunny and clear and felt warm though.

    morning all,

glorious weather... it feels as though we have missed spring, and gone straight into summer lol..

considering we have had a few days off, we haven't done that much.... mainly played with piggles, and birds... and done a bit of seed sowing and hubby played with some big boy toys on the ranch..

done a bit of a boob... had some ebay stuff finish last night, BUT as the bank holiday weather was nice, it sort of back fired on the prices lol.. now if it had been cold and raining, it might have been a diff story on the final prices..

right off to work ( booooo) will work like stink and see if we can finish a bit earlier

We have sunshine so I am going to get home and grab an hour or so on the plots. Worked til dusk the last two evenings.

The greenhouse base is just about there but need a sturdy chap/chapess or two to help assemble the frame to check the base fits properly before I finalise things.

Then need to sort out the extra glass etc.

I was recovering after being out and about :).

Same here (and only one very small (30g) Waitrose dark choc egg for me) as we spent the day wandering round Malvern fleamarket where it was absolutely baking hot :D What a brilliant fleamarket too - best I think I've ever attended, what with the sheer number of stalls, quality of items on offer and perfect weather conditions. Overheard more than one person saying it was the best they'd known too.

Came away with several treasures (all of the Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts variety) for extremely reasonable (imho) prices ;) Also managed to pick up some stock for the business and on the way home spotted a sign for a specialist plant sale at Bodenham Arboretum on Saturday which we'll pop along to, so a successful trip all round!

Another good day, weather-wise today so I've been attacking the herbaceous borders - or at least what was once herbaceous, lol - plucking out weeds, whilst DH has been catching up on parcels....

Hope everyone here is ok, enjoying the Spring sunshine and that IHS's mum continues to improve x

Good news all round, IHS. Mum will be so relieved to go home, I'm sure, :)

Nothing wrong with sensible, either, though I did have one 'mid-life-crisis car, an Audi, but it was still an estate!:rotfl:
