its hard to find something as there is no power up there, we did find this
http://www.spycameracctv.com/spycamera/invisible-ir-nightvision-hunting-cctv-camera
if we buy it, we might rig it up to by the caravan, so we can see what wildlife is roaming around us lol
Ooooh that looks interesting. It would be fun to see what (if anything) we get in garden here... Even more interesting to try at lottie, but might have a prob with security there. Hmm, that needs some thought. Not that we're going to go crazy and buy anything at the mo - will think about it when (if?) we manage to sell old home.
Very sad about garden at the mo as we saw hedgehogs when we first moved in here but none now. Dead rat yesterday too... OH bagged it and dumped it in the bin. Too tired to go into it all at the mo, and unlikely to have time for the next week - visiting Grandson plus a literary talk from someone who has been very kind to me that will be very happy to see again. :j0 -

You be careful at this 'private viewing' with this 'professor' alfie. I've heard about those! :rotfl:
I wondered about planting a bit more beech hedging and putting in one of those spy cams CTC, but it would be likely to capture every bus and tractor going past rather than Mr Dog in the act.
Besides, I can keep planting prickly things, which is much cheaper!
For the future however I have my eye on one of these:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/MINIRIG-Portable-rechargeable-speaker-GREEN/dp/B00EAXFE9U/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_i
Connected to a MP3 player, it could easily give Mr Dog a dose of his own medicine ( I already have the recordings.)
But I rather fancy something like this, lower volume, but always there, like Chinese water torture:
http://www.armadamusic.com/news/2013/03/50-best-trance-hits-ever-vol-2/
I'd like a Minirig anyway, but first need to construct a totally bomb-proof metal enclosure near the boundary....It'll be a while, but it makes present annoyances easier to bear! :rotfl:0 -
So irritating that someone has posted lots of the same thread!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

Maggie at the mo, I am looking around to find the sameone cheaper.. Mapplins are £99. and they got some on Amazon for £75, but I am not to sure if they are infra red/night ones..
they also got nest box cam kits, which look interesting.. and they also have livestock camera kits, if you had a animal just about to give birth, or need to keep a very close eye on a sick animal, from inside your house..
'hissing' it down here, and it looks as though it is here on and off for at least the next week, watched countryfile weather last night, don't like thoe big 'swirls' of weather fronts coming in from the atlantic at the end of next week/end
EDIT... now that I am having a quick mooch around the forum I see what you mean now Rummer, its a pain in the buttWork to live= not live to work0 -
Davesnave I like your style lol...
on countryfile last night the main theme was music, and natures influence on it etc.. and there was some guy in a woods, that run fishing gut between trees and then to a violin that was also tied up the fishing gut between the trees was tight, so mimicked strings on an instrument etc, and when the wind blows it resinates sp? I don't know how windy it is up mr dog's end, if it worked that would be very annoying I should imagine....
Did you see countryfile last night?Work to live= not live to work0 -
Its lovely spooky autumn weather here, rain, hurly circular winds, grey and puffs of the first fallen leaves blowing over the place in a angry curls and upwards gusts, almost like dogs playing roughly. The winds are just whistling and hissing, not howling yet, and the house is sending out tickly spooky draughts.
I did the birds before the frightfully late daylight this morning, and am heading out in not too long for the morning leaving the cats curled in a knot together in my bed and the dogs curled in their own beds. It seems only I am particularly excited by this autumnal weather.0 -

No, but DW will have recorded it. I got her a PVR, which records whole series automatically. Now she never runs out of programmes, or misses any when the Outlaws visit and take over the TV so that they can keep completely abreast of all the troubles in the world.
That guy with the cat gut & violin will probably be arrested for garroting some mountain biker! :rotfl:
I've already considered wind-chimes, but the ones I have are too melodic and I've no time to make any just now. A couple of cow bells would do the same job, though.
My MP3 collection will expand way beyond dogs. In fact, dogs are a bit of a give-away. I can manage hours of non-stop brush-cutting & chain sawing without arousing suspicion first, all without lifting more than an index finger..... :cool:0 -

I didn't. I'm working mine towards a later start, in preparation for what happens on the 26th!0 -

....But we are still up there at the top of the Board. :T:D:cool:
Someone has a grudge.
Must admit I said something a bit disparaging to one of those mods a week ago, when they did something without checking or engaging their brain first.:o
