The good news....I still have the tooth. :)
The bad news....after 2 months of intermittent pain, the NHS dentist can't fix it properly, so I had the choice of, extraction, a poor fix or paying over £500 to go to a specialist. :'(
I await the call from the specialist. :(

Lovely tree from pallet wood Maggie - looks great.
Sorry about the tooth Dave. If it's a pain get it out I say as they can flare up and cause misery on and off for ages.
Really cold and damp here with heavy intermittent plouts. Just doing the basics and attempting to get all the bay items tidied up. Been quite busy with it. Don't seem to be any tidier though.
I seem to be sliding into Winter sloth with absolute ease..............

Too late, I've already paid £80 up front to get this specialist root canal job done. She sorted the other one out last year on the NHS for about £60, but on this one a single canal out of the 3 isn't right and she can't be sure it won't cause a problem, so it's either pay up to the guys with the fancy gear, or, as you say, whip it out.
I want to keep my bite. :#
We go colder and drier tomorrow, but meanwhile, with the rivers full, it's touch and go in the rain today.

    Hope it goes okay Dave.

Off to do a bit of posting - will be stuck but it gets it into the system. Not actually hissing down - how strange.

    Happy Christmas everyone!
Bright and sunny here but very wet and soggy underfoot. Reservoir is very full, not a bird in view this end, not even gulls. Just back from the allotment with Christmas veg.
Love living in a village in the country side

Sprouts taste sweeter if they've had the frost on them.
How good that you grew your own RAS. My garden was a disaster this year. The new veg bed doesn't work as it sat under water most of the year. Looks like I may have to put in raised beds but as I'm feeling slothful in these half light days it seems a huge feat at the moment. But we have the wood here to do it and the dung! I will get seaweed sacked up when the weather allows us to get out.
We set off to post some stuff this morning but the roads were pretty much impassable, so home we came.
Lit the stove upstairs again today as it was so cold. The stove works well using little wood and banging out the heat so that is a blessing.
Bitterly cold day so didn't do much at all. The sheep were waiting for us this morning - that's when you know it's really cold.
