Stoning Clarkson, it's what we all want.

Agree with Richard53.
What a load of A1 BLX.0 -
Didn't they recently try to steal the Falklands back from us?
Obviously a dodgy number plate is much worse than this!0 -
I dont see H982 as 1982 and I dont see FKL spelling Malvinas in Argentina0

There are lots of things to get upset about, and this isn't one of them.
H982 FKL spells '1982 Falklands' in the same way that S44 MTH spells 'Samantha', i.e. not at all.
(If the letters were MAL or MLV or MVS I could sort of understand, being that the fuss is in Argentina where they don't recognise the Falklands name at all.)
Anyway, leave Clarkson alone, he makes me laugh.
I agree, this is just a PR piece to sell a TV show.
Personally, I enjoy Top Gear and even went to see the live show (don't recommend it) but this is just bobbins.0 -
Clarkson is my vintage, my era, my year and my sense of humour.
The PC lot on here are just as dull as ditch water.
At least my generation went out there and gave the Argies the good kicking they deserved we certainly haven't repeated that victory since.
I still remember the day it all kicked off like yesterday I as stuck in a wet slit trench on Otterburn with a wee transistor radio.0 -

So do I, I was on HMS Norfolk in Chile
Far too much political correctness these days0 -
Thankfully Thatcher was in charge at the time, and she was right concerning the Belgrano.0

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/top-gear/11137879/Jeremy-Clarkson-stoned-as-Top-Gear-crew-abandon-cars-and-flee-Argentina.html'Local councillor Juan Manuel Romano said the digits 269 on the number plate of the Ford Mustang Mustang Richard Hammond was driving were close to the 255 Britons killed during the 1982 war.
He added that the numbers 646 on James May's Lotus could be taken as a reference to the 649 Argentinian casualties.
Local war veteran association member Osvaldo Hilliar, referring to the Falklands by their Spanish name, said: "Our position from the outset was to demand the withdrawal of the TV team from our province, which includes the Malvinas, by 8pm on Thursday, with the warning we'd organise a demonstration to reject their provocation if not.

BBC Five Live report yesterday said that their research had found that it was transferred to a Porsche in (IIRC) 2000, and that the Porsche was last sold in August 2014.0 -
People are so blinded by their allegiances, it makes me realise now how the American public are able to support their government and armed forces while they colonise the world.
Everyone of you who are saying the TG crew were unaware of the plate and it was just a coincidence.
How many of you would still give the benefit of doubt to some extremist who had the license plate J1 HAD and was driving around playing osama bin laden tapes. Would you say "J1 HAD was too much of a stretch to say it was intended to mean Jihad and that the audio tapes were freedom of expression.0
