Stoning Clarkson, it's what we all want.

"It's a pretty strong coincidence that: -
1. 982 (1982) is the year of the Falklands war;
2. Fkl is a self-explanatory abbreviation for Falklands;
3. The car was in the Falklands at the time."
Well two shaky connections out of three isn't bad, have a look for all the previous TG funnies - there are a lot - but not sure what they were thinking off when Clarkson was driving a car with the reg. CTU 131N. Can you tell what it is yet?
Again well done TG, free publicity, G&Ts all round.0 -
Not a clue, but I've never been one for private plates
PEN 15 is about as difficult as I can cope with
Anyway, when does Clarkson get to be Transport minister? I voted for him in that AA pollI want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

Does this mean people of New York would get offended by people driving around in a Porsche 911..?
The press need to get a life and report on things that matter.0 -
H982 Fkl
(1982 Falklands)
The H is just to match the number plate format.

I won't comment on whether it's intentional or not, I'll just say it's a strong coincidence.
H 982 FKL,...
We have never dropped the leading one off the 1900s, so 982 = 1982 is tenuous.
OTOH, perhaps we could use the logic that "H" is the letter before "I", which could be substituted for a "1".
And then we could say that either we'll just ignore the "L", or perhaps that FKL is the stock exchange reference for the Falkland Islands Limited company.
Or perhaps H982FKL is H9 82 FKL, referring to the hot September of '82 when it was effin lovely!

Top Gear Christmas special = Christmas pantomime.
Where's Jeremy?. He's behind you, predictably offending someone. Boooo.0 -

Individually none of the three things I pointed out would seem suspicious, but together? Like I say - strong coincidence.What will your verse be?

I wouldn't have needed the excuse of the number plate to join in.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

Mattye, you are being serious? Take time out to find where the Porsche was, or switch to the hilarious David Icke site where close enough equates to the truth.0
