Stoning Clarkson, it's what we all want.

Mattye, you are being serious? Take time out to find where the Porsche was, or switch to the hilarious David Icke site where close enough equates to the truth.
The OP said it was on his Porsche, which was in the Falklands. I'm just going by what he said.
I haven't looked into this any more than what has been said in this thread and don't care enough to either. What will your verse be?

Britain has turned into a very different place than the one I grew up in.
According to this thread, stoning someone is OK (in fact it's what we all want, apparently).
However, protecting your territory (and the people who live there) from an invading force is wrong and so is having a car number plate that offends said invaders.
Modern Britain in a nutshell :TLove the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0 -
Not *someone*. Jeremy Clarkson.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

I'm thinking of getting a H982FKL T-shirt made.0

when i first saw it in the paper i just skim read the article and thought that it was a big fuss about nothing
when i saw it on the news and i saw it as H982 FKL it was no coincidence it was done deliberately, and they deserve to be run out of town and they are lucky they got away as light as they did
Deserve to be run out of town for making an obtuse reference to a war which Argentina started?
That's the most pathetic thing I've ever heard.0 -
BBC Five Live report yesterday said that their research had found that it was transferred to a Porsche in (IIRC) 2000, and that the Porsche was last sold in August 2014.
Don't confuse him with facts, he seems to need something to be upset about, and this is just today's random subject.0 -

If the car had been in the Falklands it's pretty unlikely that the TG team would have been "thrown out of Argentina by state officials" or had "thousands chased crew to border" (quotes from http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-29488770) given that the Falklands are not in Argentina and do not have a border. So using a bit of common sense would have led you to realise that, deliberately or not, the OP was obviously incorrect.0 -

I said I haven't looked into this any more than what has been said in this thread so I clearly didn't read that article.
Like I say, I don't really give a toss. What will your verse be?

I know, and I'm inclined to agree with you, but it stands to reason that a car with that registration in the Falklands is not going to cause any sort of incident.0 -
Typo, indeed it should have said Argentina.0
