Sorry I am a bit late in the day for this, but I would like to join please!!!
I recently just posted on my own diary about Dave Ramsay and I am already on my way to building an emergency fund, originally I planned £641 which is kind of $1000 but I will upt it to £1000 instead.
I have £100 saved so far:)Total debt to pay: £14,071.41/ Remaining debt: £12,884.12: Amount Paid: £1,187.29

Late to the party but here!
I'm a bit of a lurker (I get caught up in work etc) so if I don't post very regularly you'll know why. I'm aiming for 1000.00 in the savings and have done my year-end housekeeping for finances, food stocktake and what not and have moved 121.00 into my Emergency Saving account. It's a start!MSE-ing since 20070 -

It is quite a bit to save especially if you have other things to pay off or to save for, but as long as you get there eventually that's the main thingTotal debt to pay: £14,071.41/ Remaining debt: £12,884.12: Amount Paid: £1,187.29

#60- Just an update that I'm now up to £626.34 in my emergency fund as i resisted buying anything in any of the sales.
MOT and Car Tax is due in January so i wanted to try and add as much as possible, that way i'll still have atleast alittle something left at the end of Jan!Mortgage Feb 2023- £249,210 MFW 2023 #20: £524.05/£500 (104.81%)0 -
