The £1,000 emergency fund challenge.

Commiserations, Bobarella. Never a good time to have an emergency but it always seems worse at Christmas somehow.
But that's what patman set up the challenge for, so that we'd all have something to fall back on for just such eventualities. I'm really chuffed that I've started my EF but whatever's in it is already earmarked for a current car emergency that will need to be fixed in January. This time I won't be suffering that blind panic that I usually get when unexpected funds are needed. I can always try hard to build up the pot again and so will you.
