After 2 months busy with life in general, I needed to get online and update my totals.
EF has now reached £932 - which includes a bonus £50 win on Premium Bonds this month (very happy with that) so will hit the target now this year instead of early next year.£2 coin savings club 2025 #1 £166 (2024 £692; 2023 £754; 2022 £472; 2021 £256; 2020 £358; 2019 £512; 2018 £404; 2017 640)Saving for Xmas 202 £1 a day #4 £365 / £365 3-6 month emergency fund challenge #48 £10,030 Save a penny a day 2024 #32 £ . / £667.95 £1000 emergency fund challenge #232 £1,007/ £1,000 (achieved Nov 2020)2 -

Just declaring that I now have £100 in my New EF on top of the £1350 set aside for citizenship. I am now a bit like the squirrel hiding acorns in my lawn, I'm saving little pots here and there so on top of my dedicated EF I have a £100cash fund, I have a £230 housing savings. So at least while I rebuild my EF I still do have a bit here and there if worse comes to worse.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hi All. I'm on the brink of paying off my unsecured debt so want to join here and make a "proper" emergency fund. I've just opened a bank account where I can pay in £50 max a month to begin with, starting next month. We'll see if I can do that and not use my credit cards each month- baby steps!
