Hi I'd like to join this, have just added emergency fund to our savings, only got £45 so far and may take a while as we have debts to pay for next couple of years but we had a lot of emergencies in 2016 (think every appliance broke!) and always had to scrape money together.PAYDBX 2017 #073 2571/£2500

mumto2girlsandaboy, you are our 220th member. And to think when I started this challenge back in October 2014, I thought I'd be lucky to get to 10 fellow challenge members.Never Knowingly Understood.

Hi everyone
Just popping in to say hello (and sorry for not having been on this thread for a while).
My EF is sitting very nicely and very safely in a savings account. Because I did the Saving for Xmas 2016 challenge I didn't touch the EF. I am so chuffed. I love have this pot of money and knowing if/when an emergency crops up I will be able to cope.:jDFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -

I jiggled my saving accounts around a little and moved £300.00 into my emergency funds so I have £300.00 in there.
Hoping to put £5 or £10 in there each week or so depending on my spends lolFuture Home Fund£1,702.67/£3,000 **EF £22.00/£1000** #575SPC £59.80/£100.000 -
Hello all and a belated Happy New Year. I'm sorry to say that my emergency fund is now sitting at £0
Because of the dreaded car insurance. I did manage to save around £500 off DH and I's auto renewal quote by getting quotes from elsewhere and then asking current supplier to match them though so swings and roundabouts. Hopefully I'll be able to build the EF back up by the end of the year! (Also we are now saving separately for our car insurance so that shouldn't effect the EF come next January .

Some more automated TTs and some very small cash back payouts take my EF to £30.79.Not much, but not bad for not even trying. I have about £9 cash back tracked which will also go on, along with a standing order from next month. The house fund has been my main priority, but is relatively difficult to access, so getting the EF boosted up is a priority.House fund: ~£5000 / £10,000

Not much to report other than I have re-done my Stepchange budget and increased my payments to bring my DFD to mid-2026.Never Knowingly Understood.
