Just dropping in to say . Nice to see lots of new members too:T
My EF still remains intact at £1000 and keeping everything crossed that it remains that way;). I'm confident that should I have a run of bad luck like I had at the end of last year and the start of this one:eek: I'll have the funds to cover whatever needs doing. It's a very reassuring feeling, all thanks to patman for setting up the challenge:beer:
I'm saving anything else I can in another 'pot', that one being my 'new' car fund for when the current one finally gives up. Still going strong thank goodness so I may have a decent amount to fund another good second hand one when the time comes. Lots of bargains to be had if you're savvy, there's no need to pay through the nose for a reliable car;)0 -
Just popping into the thread to update my EF total which now stands at £190.44 - so close to that 20% mark :jSPC - #483 [banked £134.15] - :staradmin :staradmin gold stars from Sue-UU!

Not much to report here, other than that my EF is still intact.
Still have no job, but not overly worried as might be able to pick up some odd jobs to help boost the household income.
On the plus side, I have been busy at my mums and managed to get hold of a job lot of turf to turf a small area (needed 5 rolls). I bought 23 rolls and listed the 17 I didn't need on FB. Got a buyer within 10 minutes and at a nice profit as well.Never Knowingly Understood.
