Due to being paid at irregular intervals I was stuck at £100 for the last few months but I am now happy to report a nice emergency fund of £1500. I'm not sure how long it will stay at that amount since this is the first time I've ever had an emergency fund before!
Well done to everyone else on their progress, and sorry to hear about your mum Patman.2023 Mortgage-Free Wannabe #19: £11,675.68/£13,000

Been a hectic few days so time for a catch-up.
Mum is now better, so we will decamp back to mine on Sunday.
Son has given me his BT WiFi login details so I can access local BT hotspot from mum's house.
Finally got my benefits sorted out. MrsP. has put in a joint ESA claim and a CA claim as she will now be my mum's primary carer.
Finally finished demolishing the old shed and building the new plastic one. Used a load of wood from the old shed roof to make a new tailgate for my trailer.
Managed to smash-up my roofbox when I took my son to see his GP. I had to park in the nearby village carpark and totally forgot about the roofbox as I drove under the 2m height restrictor bar.
A big bonus is that when checking-out my EF I had more in than I thought.Never Knowingly Understood.

Got some money back from overpaid bills at old place - now have #208 £5.93. It's got a long way to go, but has 200x more in it than yesterday!!
I think when I've cleared the overdraft (soon!) I'll use the save the change feature on my debit card to send money to the EF automatically...House fund: ~£5000 / £10,000_£1000 emergency fund #208 - £151.74/ 1000 _

#193 checking in to say the EF has gone down to £255 after I had to dip into it to pay my first lot of childminder fees. I will be receiving backdated child benefit and child tax credit soon and will use some of this to replenish my account.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000
