Hi Patman,
May I please return to this challenge? I really struggle with having no money for "life's" ups and downs let alone dentist bills! I'm guilty of letting this challenge slip by and would like to seriously try again... if you'll have me?:o
My number was #1080 -
I'm back in the game! Received a rental deposit back and funneled most of it into the EF so feeling very positive about hitting the £1000 target this year!0

Welcome to TrushTush, member #192.
Meezel, I only ended-up seeing 'As Lions' and 'Alien Ant Farm'. I take it your o/h didn't have to tackle the M1 on Sunday evening then?. Someone decided to climb over a bridge between J23 and J22. Took me 4 hours to travel 4 miles back to my hotel having been back to download to collect anythinmg of mine and my sons that wasn't needed.
No, my o/h was coming back to the Midlands so was going back on the opposite direction. We hadn't even realized that had happened until the Monday
Welcome to all New Members :j & Good Luck with saving.
Still dissecting where our money goes and since joining this challenge we have both been thinking more of how we spend money which has had some surprising results.. MY EF now stands at £935.19/£1000 :j94%. It made me wander what we spent our money on in the first place.
We have cut back on the money we take every month so that has helped but we still go out and do things so if we needed extra money for it, at the moment we would take money out of the Emergency Fund.
We are going away in September, so we may have to take some money out of the EF to cover petrol etc.
I'm still going to continue to with this challenge if that is OK? Just with a different amount
I will update my signature soon xxDebt Free - Now time to look to the future! :T0 -

I don't think I'll get the £1k EF by the end of this year, but it's great to see the number increasing
