Sounds fun, patman:T I hope the weather is kind to you although if my many past camping holidays in the Lake District are anything to go by (we only ever camped in the Lake District) the rain somehow adds to the atmosphere. And trust me, it seemed to always be raining in the Lakes when we went;). Maybe the fairly isolated regular campsite pitches we had were different to the muddy conditions sometimes at Festivals where there's so much footfall. Anyway, have a great time:beer:

Am chuffed to say that I've reached halfway point again after the washing machine manufacturers paid me £50 as cashback for buying one of their machines when they had a special offer on:j

Evening everyone. I hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather and not melting too much. #106 here to update my total which is now £482.35/£1000 which I'm amazed with.

Hubby has just bought a new car and in the process gotten rid of his motorbike finance but now we have two cars to run. I was really worried we'd end up in the emergency fund for new parts but thanks to his overtime we got a fund in place for that. Sorry to brag but it never happens to us that we're so well organised. Hopefully we can reach £500 by the end of June with selling everything in sight and picking up a few extra shifts.

Well done to everyone with updates whether it's £1 or £100 it's amazing that there is money in place for when life unexpectedly happens x

Welcome Hanliam. You are member #190.

All packed for Download. Glad I purchased a top box as it is full to bursting and I am not sure that there will be enough room for my nephew and his partner's stuff in the boot as we already have a set of steps (to access to top box with), a folding trolley, a few boxes of drink, my camp bed and a bag of clothes.

Just hope they travel lite as I don't.

Had a back payment of tax credits today so have paid some towards debt, some towards savings...my new total is

    #69 £491.56/1000

Almost half way :) So happy about that. I've never had that much saved before. I was tempted to pay it all on the debt but realised I'd be better saving some in case I needed it.

    Well done:beer:

Always good to have a savings cushion as life has a nasty habit of springing some unexpected and expensive little 'surprises' on us:(.
  • Another £5 added to my EF today. Slowly does it!

Starting from the beginning again. Had some Quidco money come through and rounded down my accounts so I now have a grand total of £10.05/£1000 lol. Well at least it's a start!
