For about 2 weeks we would knock on this one door and run away. Turns out that wasn't a door that opened :rotfl:Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

In the case of the youth club I would contact them and complain.
We have CCTV and signs up so we don't get bothered like that.0 -
Get a doorbell, rig it so it gives the kids an electric shock
Oh, why stop there?Maybe some slippery stuff on the footpath to send them flying, or a mousetrap in the letter box in case they want to stick their fingers in. Or OP could leave the door slightly ajar, with a bucket of water balanced on the top.
I'm actually quite surprised at parents who let their kids out unsupervised after dark to go round making a nuisance of themselves.0 -

My husband works nights and was woken up by children doing this during the evening, several times. He ran out after the third day it went on and recognised one child involved as our neighbours child. He spoke to the Dad who was actually really understanding and upset that his child was involved in this. He is our local councillor and he considered the behaviour as anti-social youth behaviour (hubby just said it was an annoying kids game, that was disturbing his sleep). However he took the view that it might be frightening to an elderly person or disturb someone who was in ill health and well as nighworkers. It stopped after that.0

Used to be called knock-a-door-run (very original) when I was growing up :rotfl:0 -
this used to happen to a neighbour of mine across the street. best thing she ever did was fill a bucket of water and sit and wait for them upstairs. just as they were about to knock on the door she opened the upstairs window and drenched them.
they had to make up some excuse when they went home as to why they were soaking wet0 -
Stick up a dummy CCTV camera and a sticker on a window by the door. Make sure you get one with a little red light.0
