No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries October 2014

Morning everyone, have a UU and a TA to report:

UU is Lush No Drought dry shampoo - WBA as it lasted ages and did a good job. However I think I prefer the Dove one as it's just easier to use and doesn't leave a residue in my hair.

TA is Lush Salt Spray - I wanted to add a bit of texture to my hair today and remembered I had this in the cupboard. Spritzed it in and then went to scrunch my hair and for some reason it's made my hands all sore and irritated. Well I'm guessing its that because I haven't done anything else differently this morning. The scent is a bit overpowering anyway so it's down the drain and the bottle is in the recycling.

That's interesting re: the test results. Will have to tell Emma as she tried to talk me into getting the Birch Box again recently for the Blender. I have 100 points to spend with them which accumulated because of the box deliveries. I've given this to Emma to spend. Don't think she has used it yet.


That's shocking about the deliveries though. I think ours were left with a neighbour but a QVC parcel I recently received was left on our doorstep.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Head doesn't feel as bunged up today but the cough is driving me mad. We are at a family wedding tomorrow - full day - so will have to see how I am in the morning. The weather is meant to be bad as well. Not looking good.

1/241. Vichy Idealia Serum 1.5ml - really like this, WMB one day

2/242. No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream 25ml - I expected to hate this but was very pleasantly surprised! Very rich without making my skin feel greasy or congested. WBA but not for a while.

had an email from Occitanne offering me the chance to send 3 friends a gift coupon,did one to DH so going to pick it up tomorrow,had a unique code so cannot pass on but think I got it because I liked them on fb,think there were 4 mini items so not bad

Used up the Virgin Vie body oil I mentioned yesterday, so that's 3UUs now.

Both shampoo and conditioner getting low, so will prob finish over the weekend, along with an almost empty tube of Clinique skin cushion body wash. I'm sure there are some sachets and bottles of shampoo lurking in my cabinet, so no new ones until they are all used!

Nothing to report here I'm afraid. I managed to get through September with only one purchase so it would be nice to make October a no buy month.

Oh boy, this happens when you clean at your OH house: You find stuff that belongs to you. A perfume sample from I think March? Anyway there was only one use left so:

Escada "Cherry in the Air": WMBA if they still make it and when I have used some other perfumes up

I got one too, also on their Facebook group and email and post mailing list lol.
