Back again for this month :o no INs or OUTs have started a spreadsheet to work out finances as every penny is needed just now :( - yesterday was a NSD and hopefully today will be also :)
Beautiful day today, the leaves are looking lovely as they turn

    Hi all.

I have my first uu of the month

Molton Brown Blissfull Templetree Bath & Shower Gel 50ml, WBA, one of my favourites of theirs.

Ren Omega 3 Night Serum - I like this but see no benefit from it.

L'occitane Vanilla Flowers Hand Cream 30ml

I have first UU too. Have tipped what was left of the L'Occitane Almond oil into my bath. Was about 1/8th of the product left and it has been sat on the side of the bath all week.

I also opened my new tube of Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator and the Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Gel Mask. Quite liked the tingling feeling of mask. Have now smothered my face in Ultrasun SPF cream.

Dolly you should note that the name of Blissful Templetree has changed. Was watching Molten Brown shows on QVC yesterday and it seems the brand have renamed all their products. Sadly(and probably unhelpfully for you) I can't remember what BT is now called but Naranji has now been called Orange and Bergamot and Rose Granati is now Pomegranate something. Maybe they've decided that the names of their products were too ponsy for them!

    Can I join in? :o

Yes. Anyone welcome. You don't have to make a list if you don't want however feel free to pop on and post your UUs. Check out the first post for all acronyms. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Hello! I'm joining in again! I've just looked at my signature, adn apparently I've spent less than £30 on toiletries all year so far!! I'm trying to work out if that's accurate or if I've been engaging in some creative accounting! :S

UU my first 2 products (well not first ever obviously, just since I signed up for this!)

First was a Lush Ro's Argan skin conditioner, I've been saving the last little bit for ages, not sure why, it's a silly habit of mine!

I have historically done this, I think it's a fear of not being able to use it again or not being able to buy it again. Now I just use it up and trust that if I can't get it again, I might well get something better!
    Can I join in? :o

    Welcome!!

It's just called Templetree now. If you go to the MB website, everything is labelled with 'used to be blah blah'
  • We are repainting our bathrooms today. Main bathroom has a white suite, oak wood furniture and now has a muted pale terracotta paint job. Ensuite also has a white suite and has a green theme so we are painting with a grey based green.

I'm going to need some pampering after this!

Thanks roguey/VALM. In all honesty I would be reluctant to pay full price for a Molton Brown shower gel except maybe the Eucalyptus one but I have a Kniepps Eucalyptus one to open soon which I hope will be as nice.

Not sure if anyone is aware of this buy ASDA (at least the one I shop at) have started stocking Real Techniques brushes. They were on offer a couple of weeks ago and Emma picked up a sponge from their range that looked a lot like a Beauty Blender.

Still off work today. Throat is very sore and I've now started coughing which is making my body ache. My friend at work is very understanding thankfully.
I watched a YouTube review of the RT sponge vs the BB and Real Techniques came out on top! I still figured the Birchbox was worth a look, I've never tried a beauty box before :)
I'm sure you'll get yours in the next week or so, mine has just wandered off somewhere. Still waiting to hear about where it's actually got to. They're usually pretty quick with their customer service but this time they're being rather slow so I think they're having some problems somewhere in the chain.

As for SPF 50: I can recommend the La Roche Posay Anthelios ones. At the moment I'm using the dry touch gel/cream which applies really well over a facial oil, not so well over a mattifying moisturiser I've found!

I got a text from DS1 when I was collecting his brother from school to say there was a parcel from Yodel waiting in the doorstep for me; it was my Birchbox, thankfully we live in flats with a buzzer entry system and someone else must have buzzed him in, so it was inside the building, but if they often leave things lying outside front doors then I'm not surprised they go walkabout! I hope you get yours very soon :)

Thank you too for the recommendation of LRP, I'll have a look in the big Boots this weekend. Is it a "once" application or do you need to top up every couple of hours? The only reason I ask is my skin is in SUCH a mess, I am not comfortable going without foundation, even when lying beside the pool :( I'm very careful to avoid direct sunlight in my face when I'm abroad, I'll happily lie with my body in the sun but always have my head under the parasol but I still had a moustache using factor 30 last year. This getting older malarkey STINKS :D

    And now for the INs…

    Original Beauty Blender :)
Plush Therapy Mild Dermabrasion Facial and Body Scrub 20ml
Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream 3ml
    Agave Healing Oil 4ml
Model Co Power Lash Black Mascara 5g

I will take all of the above on my hols, so hopefully they won't be hanging around for long. I also got two Vichy Idealia samples in the mail but I'll open them tonight so won't declare as INs or OUTs :)
  • Welcome aintshesweet ! I've been a member of this group for like 3 weeks and I can tell you: it's amazing.

I can't wait to see and hear about your updated lists ... I feel like I need to do it as well - I'm currently using a shampoo that's not even on my list, but in my stash for months :o

But I think I'll count them around Christmas since I know I will buy some new stuff around that time ... :p
